I exhale my thoughts across the page.
My pen bleeds them into being.
The paper victim of open wounds to describe a hidden hurt.
This vicious dance of pain.
Breathing life to this war of love.
A mosaic of broken hearts.
Sharp edges of loneliness hidden in the mortar of hopefulness.
Is it fair to make believe a whole out of pieces?
To take these glass hearts and shatter them to make a masterpiece.
Taking the ruins of a life,
Puzzling them together.
A cobbled set of emotions.
Flashes of light against the surface of what once was.
Reflections of color, seeing beauty in the aftermath.
Perhaps hearts were never meant to remain whole.
Collecting parts of others
Quilting the fabric into a blanket
Warm enough to forget I am made of parts
Parts of everyone I’ve met.
Surrendering shards of me for the art of others
Taking pieces for myself to fill the gaps.
She longed to see the world
To see the far off places
Lithuania sparked her interest, as did Europe as well as France
Places so far from home, she could just start everything over
Everything could change, all her worry's would be forgotten
She could finally know the meaning of peace
No more chaos, no more lies
learning several languages so she knew she had her options
If she ever needs a quick getaway it can easily be achieved
Once shes old enough shell leave and never look back
forgetting about her hometown
The desolate place where she grew up.
Our love is like a drug
Holding me captive in your arms
Dragging me in with the smile in your eyes
I couldn't escape if I wanted to.
The way I keep coming back
The way you keep welcoming me.
Our love is everlasting,
It will never  be cut short
No guns or girls could ruin this.
Were far to strong for such folly things.
Well be together till the end of time.

I'm standing here

       In this doorway

Halfway between where I have been
And where I will go

*And I can't help but cry tears of joy.

Colour Me Love.

Colour me bubbles of misty-blue love.
Blow them, drifting on soundless high cloud.
I wait here, gratefully searching above
A whispering sky, knowing the ether around
My window pane will resound once again
To more heart-warming secrets, hauntingly
Packaged by words wrapped in your name,
And containing nothing but love unforced.
Colour me baubles of glistening gems.
Rubies for hugs, emeralds for evergreen
Promise of undying devotion and bend
Them like rainbowing arrows, gleaming
Their star-studded aerial journey straight
Into my dreams, colour me gentle, cover
My fears in caring spheres at the gateway
Of this beating heart and paint me with love.
He would appear and disappear
without a sound
Would stare at the stars
all night long
Sleep on the cold desert floor
Eat peyote buds
and sing war songs
He was rich
in all the nothing he had
Identified as a thunderbird
The animal spirits
were sacred in his world
Asked about gold
and he would scorn
Holding up water
the most precious
in all forms
I called him Navaho
        NO !
Call me Dineh !
So I did
Navaho is the name given to the Dineh by the illegal immigrants from Spain , England and other European nations .
I come in bolts and flashes
Humans delight in the terror
I strike into their hearts
The world is in awe of me

Nobody can control me
I go wherever I want
And the things I can do,
Turning sand into glass with my touch

I can tear at the very fabric
Of all your angry skies
I’ll make your night turn into day
On a whim, simply because I can

The mightiest trees will feel me
Burn into their flesh
Leaving them torn and scattered
Like sticks thrown in the grass

Fear me!
