How nice would it be
If we were always prepared
For all situations
And from surprises, were spared?

But rain doesn't wait
Till the shelter is raised,
And sun doesn't wait
Till you're wearing your shades.

Mud doesn't wait
Till you're wearing old shoes,
We can't always be ready,
And I'm not ready for you.

No shelter, no shades,
No shoes and no time;
Here you come, taking over
My unprepared mind.
you
you're aching, and tragicly breaking.
living your life in dispair.
your praying, and you're waiting,
for someone who doesnt care,
he was never really there.

you're burning, and you're yearning,
for him to come through,
stop wasting all your time on him,
and just start loving you.
ty all so much for likeing my poem im very flattered! :D
I wonder the road you're traveling my friend
Are you having fun I wonder
That's all I want out of life
Will you persist on this path of self destruction?
I've often been told you can't save everyone
Maybe I've seen too much Superman in my days
I've thrown you my hand a couple of ways
You're the drain they warned me about
Put it all in like a wishing well
It's not real but you do it anyway
Pernicious your actions but you don't give two *****
A mind filled with disarray but you seem conscious
The fun we had was unforgettable, it's haunting every time
To know you're on that same kick, memory, and line
We could have been best friend hell we were
A parasite inside you yearning to take over, has it always been in control?
Are you even still home, I really want to know...

it doesn't seem that i can get high enough
                                                                          or low
to find a reason for b r e a k i n g this cycle
                                                        cycle          cycle
                                                                  cycle
of trying to become drinking buddies with my demons
or unconscious of the fact that i'm slowly letting my passions
                                               die.

This is what I'm a part of
High school band
Very different from middle school band
All mature teens (most of us)
Coming together and making the most amazing thing in the world

We make love and hate
We make peace and war
We make red and white and yellow and green an blue and purple
We make tears and smiles
We make laughs and screams
We make.

We are a band.
We make music.
No one will get this unless you've ever been a part of a band- not like a rock band but an actual band- with trumpets and french horns and flutes am tubas and clarinets and trombones and saxophones.. It is breathtaking. What we do..
Everyone is going to have a bad day from time to time, don't take it personally, just let them be.
2.Tell the people you love that you love them all the time and everyday, they need to know.
3.It's never to late to accomplish what you want.
4.Take care of yourself, get the sleep you need, take a warm bath or eat a meal, it will be okay.
5.If you're not in a relationship, it's not the end of the world. You're still beautiful and you always will be, regardless if you're with someone or not.
6.Enjoy the simpler pleasures like sitting on the beach or reading a book to ensure ultimate happiness.
7.Take pride in what you love, no matter what it is, because it's apart of who you are.

Don't ask me if you're beautiful
For I am a poet, my dear
If only a simple, but heartfelt "yes"
Is what you would like to hear

Don't ask me if you're beautiful
If your deep brown eyes are lovely
I'll say they're luminous stars,
During my nights, they shine impeccably

Don't ask me if you're beautiful
If your smiles are charming
I'll say they're arcs of polychromatic colors
Stretched across blue skies, breathtaking

Don't ask me if you're beautiful
If your hair is just fine,
I'll say they're thin tails of wandering comets
Fascinating, plainly divine

Don't ask me if you're beautiful
If your dress looks okay
I'll say you're a glass of ice cold water
And I've been thirsty for this entire summer day

Don't ask me if you're beautiful
If I'll still hold your rough hand
Darling, can an average human like me
Resist a touch so grand?

Don't ask me if you're beautiful
After one, five, ten, twenty-five years time
I'll say that whatever my eyes descry
Will be defining sublime

Don't ask me if you're beautiful
You're in love with a poet, my dear
Simple answers are not what I'd give
A mere "yes" is not just what you'd hear

there are different types of crying
each of us has at least one or two
and from my point of view
the most used is the one without tears,
when the soul cries loud and everything in the body hurts.
and there is another one that goes hand in hand with rain
you're between droplets, crying and nobody can see the tears.
