They told her she was just a face.

So all the creases & blemishes

made her mind race.

They said she could fix it,

just press erase.

With a brush, make it up just right:

sweep it under the rug

or go under the knife,

to lug.

a ride on the bus
sitting in the back row
staring out windows
bored on the bus right now. it's a good place to clear my head.
I breathe in the light
and I’m already choking;

this is no place
for the girls
that have ripped their own chest open;

do not save me now
I am to dwell with the unspoken.
Can we find it in our hearts
To help the victims of the world
If we all cry one tear
And offer it to mankind
There will be no thirst again
Thoughts are lost in closed minds
Thoughts are lost in closed minds
We have enough in the western world to offer help to the victims of this world
Just offer one prayer before you close your eyes
