Tongues
If you were a book
I would grasp you with each hand
As I sink into each page -
Your poetic quicksand.
If you were a book -
My favorite book of all -
After years of gazing into you,
Your words would still enthrall.
When your binding is undone
And your cover slightly torn,
You would be just as lovely
With your pages touched and worn.
If you were a book,
I would hold you close all night.
I could read you without words;
I could read you without light.

The Revolutionist
What the hell is up with the assassination attempts towards LGBTQ+ community? what did they even do? I mean, why hate someone for being different, why try and **** someone for being gay, or, bi, or transgender? or whatever they associate themselves as? like it just baffles me how much hate and animosity this world has, if someone is different, let them be different, because we all have differences and that what makes us the same, we're human beings and should be treating each other as such, I have friends that are gay, and bi, and I'm a straight guy myself, but you don't see me treating them any different, I respect them and they respect me, at the end of the day, it's all about love, respect and character, when did we turn a blind eye towards those values and morals? it's just crazy the amount of hatred and violence this society will stoop to....

Seven seas and twilight moons.
Darker shades give us
Clearer visions.
Touch all night and don't wake
'Til noon.
Risk it all under supervision.

I don't need to be supervised.
What we doin' ain't so forbidden.
Keep me more than just
Hypnotized...
It's alluring, everything we're
Keeping hidden.

Give your body a pulse that
Stutters.
Look into eyes with a gaze so
True.
Undercovers, keep it undercover.
Oh, all the things I would do
To you.

I said no to drugs once.
I looked a bag of **** right in the face
and, like a loving but firm father,
I said, "No."
I was really high.

Kisses and breaths deepen
Your hands on my hips pulling me close
I wrap my legs around yours
He begins to insert himself
And with every ******
We make waves in our tiny ocean

What a terrifying day to be alive
What a terrifying week
What a terrifying year

50 lives lost
No a single rainbow is shining down on us today

I cry for the lives of the people i never knew
and i cry because we never know what those souls could have done for our world

Another day older, but i feel so small
Nothing i can do, but mourn and hope for a better tomorrow

Justice went un served for a victim who spoke out,
and the rest of us cry, because we didn't have the courage

Why cant the world see non consensual *** does not exist
There's  only one word for it, and its ****

All the horror going on around me, each tear falling from my eyes is bringing each small ounce of hope and happiness with it

This week i have told myself i don't want to live on this planet,
but that's a slap in the face to everybody who no longer has the chance

Tomorrow i will be a better me, i will honor the lives lost to violence and hate. I will put forth more generosity, kindness, and understanding for the ones around me who lack it. I will not give up. The people committing these horrible acts of violence and intolerance need me to be the best person that i can be.
Take a moment of silence for all the lives lost this year due to senseless acts of violence.
It's
bleeding rain,ripping through and
dripping out of the sky again
anyone got a
bandage?
...and Noah sails off in the ark....laughing insanely.
What happened
in Afghanistan and Iran, Iraq,
will come back to haunt us.

If we're right and they are wrong
or
they are right and we've done
wrong
it really doesn't matter much
we've touched a match to a fuse now lit,

time enough to wallow in ****
and that's where we'll be
up **** creek
paddling frantically.

Troop carriers carrying troop barriers to block the flood of refugees,
(humanitarian missions if you please)

what a ******* joke
mirrors and no smoke without fires

well I won't fight
wrong or right
we've all got a need to live.

The sinking don't swim,
nobody tells them this as
they get on the boats for
a serving of bliss

heaven can *******
it's not helping anyone
or maybe it's home for
the new breed of drone
and droning on

Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq
are coming back to
haunt us

She's somewhere far away
sitting on her porch
watching the sun sinking behind the church tower
alone
breathing the warm air
as another day of her life
is going to an end.
80 years and no smile wrinkles on her cheeks
her forehead still a history book
where lines of war and struggle
are deeply written.

Her eyes full of colour,
her heart
a room where hope and sorrow
constantly fight against each other.

Her voice, a joy to hear
though it saddens me
knowing that she goes to sleep as the sun does—
lonely, in a dark, quiet infinity
