Give me a minute
To read the stars
Lamenting in their stories
Their laboured twinkling far and sparse

Give me this moment
To stumble and swoon
My branches reaching for
The faraway moon

Give me a while
To be one with the universe
Hear the colliding planets
As they spill their mournful verse

Give me some time
To plot my rightful place
Within my uncharted galaxy
And collapsing space...
I hear voices
yes you do
They're unfamiliar
who are you?
Get out of my head
but I like it here
You're not welcome
face your fears
I won't talk to you
Oh, yes you will
I have no choice
time to ****?
why am I so crazy?
you're been so alone
I'm crying now
*come on, pick up the phone
Dial  your friends and listen to the tone
Of a voicemail message, they left you at home
again
Soon, you an I will be best friends
I'll make sure we have a beautiful and red end

Neath
She pursed her lips, smiled
and
devastated me with her lilac eyes.

The sky is a fading blue
As the ground turns grey I lay here with you
Our heads start to spin as the ceiling fans dim
Filled with pink thoughts of a greater tomorrow

But our color is draining; we're no longer rainbows
The door swings open and here comes the fables
That we have to speak to save our skin
From being stripped of our colorful sin

Does this seem right? Does it seem fair?
This planet is dull and filled with despair
"Be who you are, unless you are you!"
Is what the old men are telling our youth

I want you to help me
I want you to care
I want you to show me you are really there

I'm screaming out for you
I thought I was different
But you ignore me too

We are so similar
we could be friends
but you ignore me, is this how it ends.

I want to turn back time
to a time when you cared
I want you to know me
I want you to care
I want you to show me you are really there

I'm talking to you
show me you are there
i am as constant as an open door,
twice broken down,
no lock to shelter the life i've raised

i am a harbour of selfish psyches,
who write lyrics on my walls
and sleep in tiled stalls,
drunk,
on the promise of an eternal home.

i am a church of unbelievers,
idly bowing their heads
to no statue in particular,
the low hum of an absent mind,
dried up of answers.

*i leave them blind.
