the elephants have been here since the world began
here from the start since the age of man
roaming round the earth roaming wild and free
there ancestors are still here for all the world to see

now all of this is changing there numbers going fast
no one really knows how long that they will last
there all getting killed by poachers and there need
taking all there ivory to satisfy there greed

leaving them to die and suffer as they lay
killing of there numbers every single day
soon there will be none and elephants no more
to roam around the world like the years before.

we must get together and do the best we can
save these poor creatures and give them back to man
let them roam once more let them all go free
give them back there freedom the way that it should be
