I've got midnight eyes
and she's got sunrise.
My horizon tries,
but it just can't break free
from dusk.

There is an old blue man in my mind
Rocking his rocking chair.
Outside on the deck with leaves
Swaying by, it's cold but it's a cycle.
His heart is always dry.

Just looking down to the ground
As the dark sky torments above.
The sun sets down to leave sight,
Just like the feeling of love.

I tried, i tried to stay awake
but the memories keep holding me back
back when i thought of your sweet embrace
pulling me towards, towards uncertainty
i never thought time would lead me
back to the way it used to be

times are turning
blink an eye;
will be this time
tomorrow;
next week, month, year.
