Slowly succumbing to the burning tranquility,
My mind dreads on these moments without you.
A dark and cold sensation strikes me with agility,
Turning my burning heart ashen, cold, as fast as you…
                                                                         …ignite it again.

Is this Nirvana? A place avoid of everything but pain and you?
Or do I have monsters inside without which I cannot live?
Without which I cannot be human? What can I do?
Can I only wait and suffer through this calmness and give…
                                                                            …my scars time to heal?

sweet gas station champagne
and rocky *******
melodic moans escape
as you whisper my name
our tongues dance
like children in soft summer rain
silky lips on my *******
desire surging through my veins

now drunk on your presence
and high on romance
you softly kiss my forehead
then slip on your pants
body tingling, mind racing
while lost deep in your trance
you waltz out the door and slur
"glad i had the chance”

let's skip lunch & get this over with
a little dance of a growing flower
one  at a time,  bland  & ignorant
girls tiptoeing, girls daydreaming
the corridor gives us chills
white, green, white,  green
for fear spellbinds,  we resist
will this be enough?

we never broke the walls
we found the door & it was open
w     i     d     e.  rather wide, so "off we
go"
?  where? where?
the fountain behind the library
*                          *was beautiful, sister
sure,      it was

here lies the body of a woman who's life has been smashed to pieces
a hammer
by the woman who had birthed her
implanted to her heart
telling her
she is not worthy of life
and she is not worthy of loving

she fell for a man
whom wasted her trust
a simple distraction
lost in books and memories
of things she didnt know were true

here lies the body of a woman
and that woman is you.

I feel like someone just kicked me in the head and everything suddenly
shifted into place while I laid on the floor, stunned

I realized that not one single person on Earth
has any idea what they're doing

Oh, we get used to things
we memorize our facts
we unlock our doors, pay our bills
some of us write laws, some of us save lives
but not one of us is in control
not one of us really knows what we're doing

There's no adult left to tell you what to do
They have just as few answers as you
And even when you reach that hidden line
Nothing changes, you're still a clueless child fumbling with made-up things
and dreams, just with more responsibility
and more consequences

so many more
a web of lives tangled in your sleepy fingers

I don't understand how the whole world isn't huddled together in fear
Not one of us knows anything
But at least all together we could try to learn
we could find puzzle pieces, we could question the stars
we should help each other
instead of feeding our egos
Pretending we already know it all.

The first of any month

is strange like

the peeling of a

hard boiled egg

where the sharp shards

if shell get all

stuck up

in cold fingernails

and the rubbery white

sphere of molded egg

jiggles and slips

plopping hard

on the white tiled floor

but it never breaks

just keeps it's shape

staying whole and

rolling off past the kitchen

and onto the warm

living room rug

where it stays

stuck and melting

becoming one with

the ruby red color

like a round white eye

glaring up at the world

unable to blink.
