The
The sun isn't present today
tears are streaming down their faces
not a story to tell
my stupidity has emerged out of the blue
I was supposed to write a poem about the word "the"
but unfortunately all I could think of is the misery I am in
after I boarded a time machine and travelled into the past and realized that I wasn't present anymore
Check the tag bookpoemchallenge for more info. The book I picked was "Literature for grade 9" Ray Bradbury.
Out
Thinking of parks, gardens, and yards..

Not a single minute of wonder
Not even a street to wander

Sitting in silence at home,
Not even a window to look out of
Not a single door to open

Imprisoned in the darkest place
a person can dream of

Just wishing I could have a glimpse,
*of what the world looks like
The book I picked was 'Literature' by Alice Walker.
Its wild in here

yet so peaceful

your love has made a forest out of me
Check the tag bookpoemchallenge for more info. The book I picked was 'Pig tails' by Scott foresman.

[for Ellie's book poem challenge]*

In last,
the brat
pointed
to the slate,
to the grid
chalked there.

"And then
he found a way out
of the maze!",
he said,

and as he spoke
he erased a line
in that last square.

He smiled,
toothless,
to his best friend:

now
both of them
had it wrong
but that cage
of loneliness
was open wide
- at last!

Picked a iBook from Agatha Christie... Totally random.

in my mind
we played by love
red roses
and sweet words to speak of
but

in your mind
we played by points
each new lie
another check on your score board
and

yes I know
that when I go
this game will turn into something
much more
still

no matter the blood
and guts that may spill
I'll take that
rather than losing  this to
you
Inspired by the Book Poem Challenge. The title is from the book Impulse by Ellen Hopkins.

what colour
would define me
i obsessively
ask myself
for a while now

no colour
in the wide world
palette
seems to fit
this
shaded vertigo
this
anxiety of wings

water coloured

now i think about it
i may be

water coloured

a coloured
refraction
where there is
no color at all

To all the promises we broken
To all the tears we shed
To all the screams that still echoes in my head

I drive you crazy
while you curse me 'till I'm numb
Spitting hatred from our mouths
We hurt each other while we're together
why won't we just fall apart?

Because we we weren't meant to be, not destiny
We were just another **epic tragedy
To the our melodramatic ending XD

Chaos
Sometimes I can't stop
The tears, the pain, the lies
Or the thoughts, the words
That trap me
Sometimes I can't stop
Playing the same song
Over and over and over
Until it's all I hear
The words resonating
Through my soul
Capturing how I feel
Sometimes I can't stop
Losing myself in my sorrow
Falling again and again
Into the darkness
That creeps along
On the edges of my vision
Just sometimes I can't stop
Being the disappointing mess I am
Broken and unfixable
Unreliable
Until I can get a grip
And replace my mask
It only happens sometimes
