You cant save my life
I am drawn
drawn in my own pain

You cant make me happy
I am covered
Covered with my own grief

You cant read me
I am written in the paper
damped by my own tears

I can take a breath
but can't live my life
I am confused I am dead or alive

I have lots of things to do
will you please give some rest
I am now too tired
will you please clean up my bed

I want to see the moon
the clouds are dark
now its going to rain
can I now see it clear

I have lots of dream
will you please give me prefect night
I need to see my dreams
will you please make me alive

The Road goes ever on and on

Down from the door where it began.

Now far ahead the Road has gone,

And I must follow, if I can,

Pursuing it with eager feet,

Until it joins some larger way

Where many paths and errands meet,

And whither then? I cannot say.

Have you ever felt bigger than your body?
as in your emotions swell to the point that your soul pushes against your skin
makes you question the reason you exist
have you ever felt big?
like alll attention is on you
like the world stopped for a momentt to laugh at you
critique you
make you feel alone
have you ever felt small?
as if everyone doesnt notcie you
steps all over you
the words you say fall on deaf ears
no point in speaking at all
have you ever not felt?
Have you ever
have you ever been alone?
have you ever
have you ever been without a home?
have you ever
have you ever had your heart stole
have you ever
have you ever
really
been
its more of a spoken word

The Broken Poet
Fall is here
The leaves start to descend
Others barely hanging on
While the others gave up hope
In a rush of air
The wind came and picked up the fallen leaves
For the wind loved them so
It ached his heart to see them lying lost
So he gave them warmth
I feel the fallen leaves crunching under my feet
Some leaves have gotten left behind
This is what Faith is like
We are all fallen leaves waiting for hope.
