 Oct 2015 Dreams of Sepia
FiesaLy
A movie playing in her head
You and Only You
The only one that she adores
The only one that she loves
But he will never know

Couldn't remember it
The first time she lost her mind
Pretty smile that melted her heart
Those big eyes that prettier than her
She fell in love

He got an angel but another one
Her heart broke
Like how a paper ripped

He'll never know
The way she stares at him
He'll never know
The heart that given to him
He'll never know
She loves him

In my dream

I saw you

Like a star

Glimmering in the dark night

Shining so bright to amaze me

Came closer and closer

Till i could smell the heaven

Living in your illusion

Become one of the regrets

But it was too late to escape
in the far
           far
           far west
amidst loone
             ******
             lonesome forests
lived princely
a hero,
an absolute zero
in love affair
             fairy

one day, a plaid
               a pledge
he hung he hung he sang

to slug chug unplug
his heart
to blund it
blend it
tender it
in nature feast

and there he went
into the wild
and there he found
piled a mild a maiden
of golden locks

oh such a luck
for suckers
      seekers
who lived in loone
                       ******

For Pradip.
Is upon me now:

Of plowed old corn
Turned beneath the soil,
Disheveled roots clawing at sky

Of seagulls, far inland,
Crying "Scavenge!"
Out on lonely fields,

And smoking brush smouldering
Useless now, for human needs,
Hazing a clouded sky,

Of chilling, two-wheeled rides,
The windblown miles rushing
Past towns and scattered farms,

Of fetid morning steam
Rising thick above the lakes
Hunters crouching,

Of calls rising from the mud,
Flaring foolish ducks
Swooping low to their own harvest.

We have not deeply thought
Just yet, of coming snow,
We, in this cloven spot in time;
While all around us
Leaves slip their summer greens,
To dress in colors bright,
While migrant birds begin to keen
For warmer, bluer skies.

I sense that Autumn has begun,
And I am discontent;
My garden's done its annual  run:
Potatoes, scarred and round are dug,
Tomatoes in and canned,
Nearly leafless, blood-red beets
Stand their pockmarked rows;
Onions dry in braided twists.

New Winter's not a long way off,
Though Autumn's looking bright,
And sadness makes impossible to doff
That "certain slant (our Emily once said) of light,"
So I must find a quiet corner soft,
And I must dream somehow...

Awake,
Asleep,
The scent of autumn
Is upon me now.
Soft sweet meadow
radiating its breath of life;
sounding its serenity
in echoes of the mind's eye

Living in this flat land
lay plush
in wild, multicolored-flowery-pockets in greenery
blankets "Sweet Meadow"  with fresh quickened
fragrance

And by our bedroom window
with a summer night's soft evening breeze
mellow cheeeping can be heard from way way down below
seemingly luring us to...

.. "OPEN WIDER THE WINDOW...
              ...AND LISTEN!!
Chant dear chorus
as violinist in "Cricket Suits"
join this cantor
that swings with rhythm
with wheezing sounding bugs, AH HUMMING!!
and an intermission of
Cha  Cheep,  Cha  Cheep
that breaks the nocturnal entomological singing
with ephemeral intermissions

Be bewitched by brillance as
tunes fly and z i n g
their little
whistle
songs so sweet a talent
unseen
little bugs sweetly sing
their little
tale of talent
in "Soft Sweet Meadow"

Comforted by vibrating frequencies
the air is electrical clasping
our good-inner child
as this meadow
unfolds its truth
being beneficial
to us all

We journey not too far
for this field draws us
to its delightful *****
We irresistibly suckle on its daytime scenic eye-filling foliage
later eliciting dreams made of peaceful slumber

Cha Cheep,  Cha Cheep and good night...
OH YEAH, THE HYPNOTIC AND RHYTHMIC SWAY OF NATURE
He met a girl down in a bar,
She had eyes like a hurricane.
Lost within the winds of her smile,
He was spinning like a weathervane.

He said,
"Girl there's guna be rain,
So we had better take cover."
She said,
"Now boy don't be insane,
I'm no sunshine lover."

Now they stand together
Drenched to the bone,
Her lips taste like summer,

An oasis alone in the cold.
We could have been great,
Oh you and I.
The carpenters of fate,
Carving lines in halcyon skies.
Scar tissue blue
Vapour clouding the eyes.
Bound
To the flight of hyperborean tides,
Mythical winds of the north.
Yet their chill is real
Wrapped in the cloth
Of pride and zeal.
Confide,
While calm in the shaded riverside.
Forever chasing rainbows
Over moors and mountainside.
No cauldrons of gold
Just archaic rocks and stones
Buried by the weight
Of fallen bones.
If my heart was a flower,
Would you not pluck me?
If my hair was a meadow,
Would you nae huddle me?
If my hands wanted yours,
Would you not hold mine?
If my lips were cloudburst,
Would mine quench thirst?
If my dress danced windily,
Would you nae haply join in?
If my eyes were pearl oysters,
Would you freshly shuck me?
If my skin were of the Selkies,'
Would you offer me nae seas?
