Welcome to the Sindicate
Of utter stupidity
Where all tactile contact
Is inhibited by the puny mind

You are a villain
Of these modern times of change
In primal times
How I would have deranged
Your features
Like the animal within me
Tells me so

To take justice into my own hands
Hone it like never before
Then plant it
Into your ridiculous behind

Then maybe some sense will grow
Instead of spewing idle catchphrase
When all wisdom has  escaped
From your old diuretic mind

Then maybe you will see
Beyond your need for controversial
Lust for simple power
Over the sheep you fail to herd

To manipulate the many
Your voice must be heard
But its pointless tribulation
When all around you curd
At your arrogance

Now the freshly programmed
Atmosphere turns at the smell
Of your ***** discussion
Riddled with moth *****

Slurring all the ignorance
You can muster in one
Uninformed, uncontemplated instant
Which has roused the warrior
So I may slay this fool

Only to stop the cringe of colleagues
As they put up with your impertinence
How I wish that all intelligence
Did not exist for a time

So that all the grime that lies within me
Can swallow you whole
So you may have a taste of darkness
To counteract the light
That shines
Out
Of
Your

The moment you're in the office doing your job and the village clown (The Mayor) Goes off on one. I stayed silent then but the pen trembles as I lay the anger down.
He is her full moon,
he casts a shadow of protection
over her night-after-night,

He is her daylight,
outshining the sun,
unlike the sun he is there
day-after-day;
he is her handsome knight.

He is more
than amazing,
more spectacular
than any perfect night sky,
much brighter
than any constellation,

Her beautiful man,
she gazes at him
with total adoration.

Day-after-day,
night-after-night,
her handsome man,
the love of her life,

Yesterday,
today,
tomorrow--forevermore,
his proud loving wife.

As Thursday dawns and traffic thrums,
the pulse of life is rising.

The temperature is mild for now,
but highs I am despising.

I'll enjoy the ride and abide
within my domain bettin',

That if you're out by noon today,
you really will be sweatin'.

So I'll drink my fluids and try
to keep myself away from trouble,

'Cause when the sun is high today,
the tar will start to bubble.

There was a time I didn't stop to smell the roses anymore
I just wanted to hide away from the world

He took my childhood
He took my trust
All because of his sick ******* of lust

It took me awhile to finally see
That he was to blame for the horrible, awful ...not me

Once I started cleaning out darkened cobwebs
and the craziness from my mind
Those roses started smelling sweeter and sweeter all the time
Despite all that evilness from him
I overcame and I am longer victim

He on the other hand I hear is not faring that well
Seems as though he has already cashed in that one way ticket to hell
He can never hurt me or anyone else for that matter ever again
He loses and ...I WIN

I like to give people things
I'll buy them food
Or their movie ticket
Or I'll give them a ride somewhere
Free of charge.
I like to give people things
Because I know how the world is
How it takes too much

It took my father
It took my sanity
It took my patience
It took my hope
But it has not taken away my will
I always have a choice

I choose to give.
And I will give until I have nothing left
Because then,
At least it will be my choice.
And I will know that
The world cannot take away
Something I no longer have.
Give a little everyday, and the world might just end up being a happy place.

The place I came from was known locally
As Apache country
Later to become the Lebanon
I guess you get the drift
Even to this day
Taxis are loath to go there after dark
And nobody blames them

Everybody smoked back then
And most men got drunk too often
Women might get a little merry
When weekend came round
Most men hated their jobs
And many women hated their lives
But everyone carried on
Because it had to be done

In the streets I learned every swear word
Long before I started school
In a place where "****** this"
And "****** that" and worse
Were everyday parlance
Nobody ever mentioned "love"
Oh, don't get me wrong
I know that there was love around
But I only ever heard it mentioned
In the words of popular songs

I don’t remember when I lost my tenderness
And hardened into a thick shelled adult
No more innocent, no more gullible
Like a snake, I have peeled away my old self
It was easy enough, but having shed it
I realize no spring can bring it back!

There was a time when my imagination
Was so fiercely fuelled by fairy tales

How I used to visit the magic realms
Traversing the path from wonder to wonder!
On fancy’s feathered wings, I flew
Dwelling with fairies, demons and vampires
Roaming through the gilded hallways of magic castles
Peering into wishing wells
Wandering into enchanted forests

I searched under pillows for tooth fairies
Lay awake in bed to hear a tap on the door
With the ringing plea, falling in my ears
‘Open the door, my princess dear
Open the door to thy true lover here’
Wondering if a slimy frog has leaped over to my bed

Many hours were lost in fearful suspense
Pondering if the hoodwinked Red Riding Hood
Would escape the claws of death in the woods

With bated breath I followed the three Billy goats
On their way to the meadows beyond the bridge
Cursing the wicked troll that lived under it

Scrubbed old lamps hoping a genie would crop up
To bring things, my little heart cherished,
Looked up to see Aladdin on his magic carpet
Whizzing past the clouds,

Once I left my homework undone
Thinking those helpful elves would do it
While I snored away in the dead of the night

Now bereft of all such queer fancies
My brain has gone into lazy slumber
My world once checkered with colorful patterns
Now lies damp, dull and laden with strife!
One of my uncles staying abroad used to bring for us many English story books. I had the privilege of listening to fairy tales at a small age....
