Valsa George
A cool December morning!
Today I rose much earlier than usual
I watch the night stealing away
Like an accused convict under cover

Sunlight peeks through the leaves.
In the haze of overhanging mist,
Only the blurred silhouette of trees in sight
The crows have begun their raucous call

The leaves of grass are misted with dew
A cool zephyr blows from the south
Clouds float like shredded cotton
Even Sirius, the brightest star has paled

Life is slowly beginning to unfold
And men like shadows have begun to move
The sun has now climbed to the Eastern hills
In scintillating glory like a mighty king

Shattering the mist with his lance like beams
He exults like a victorious warrior
His crystal rays rouse the sleeping birds
And they begin their chorus in wondrous rhyme

I enjoy the sweetness of this lovely morn
In serene silence, I stand and watch
The light that slowly fills the Earth,
Dispelling all trace of overhanging darkness!
Unlike the Winter of the West, here in most parts of India it is very mild and sweetly pleasant with clear blue skies, bright sun and cool mornings and evenings. This is the best time of the year, here in the place where I live. The morning air carries the scent of opening flowers, so refreshing and giving an exotic feel !

Day
You are my little piece of heaven
and I sit here, laying in the grass
wondering how I ever got so lucky
as to reach up and*
touch the clouds

I want you to know why I rarely write or like poems here anymore.
One of my arms the left, I believe hurts much through arthritis pain.
But it does not mean that you all are not in my prayers or thoughts.
For you all are still very important and special to me sorry though.
About the absent , but keep me in your daily prayers , who knows.
What our Creator has in store for our relationships my friends.
There may yet be sharing of poetry, only time shall tell love you all.
More then you shall tell with the unconditional love from Christ our God.
Persevering though this, but shall see you and your Light on the other side.
For it through your poems and your Light within you that gives me hope.
To persevere , continuing to walk the path that Christ has set before me.

trees wrapped in
glimmering lights
shine and sparkle
under moons night
open land so bright
to run
to slide
snow so white and
soft like clouds
absorbs our bodies fall

pines and firs
a canopy
casting gaze on all below
branch tips wrapped in
delicate ice
magic wands
hovering o're our heads
this eve of moonlit glow

The Moon rises in our blood
A lover passion filled
Sparks from the Sun
Fire to our Earth.

I am in the bones of life
The void of light
The final kiss
The end of dreams
The beginning of song
Wrapped in black shrouds
I give you black wings
And set you free to the night
To become a star
a moon
a sun
and a dream
To dream again
and again...

Pax
upon seeing the lining of the
sky, lies the dwindle
crimson sign...

i asked why such beauty
twinkles in blood.
sometimes in the early dawn, the sky, in my eyes
seems blood orange. sometimes in my perception
lies a deep meaning.

Full Moon speaks the last word tonight -
Casual-recherché and light.
In the absence of the sun she
Leafs through the pages of the night
And shoots a side-look at the pond -
Her desire stretches far beyond
His specular contour.
