I wrote a poem once in fine
point pencil that went
unnoticed so I erased it

I wrote my next poem in nib
and ink from a well
and spilled the ink all over it

I next tried to write a poem
on an old fashioned typewriter
because the ribbon was all dried out
it turned out unreadable

So I decided to try posterboard
and a King Sized Sharpie to write upon
my next poem  and...

It is of my opinion that you have desisted in truthiness.
And as such,
you will hence forth be known as a
'Teller of Untruths.'

As a result,
I do believe your trousers have combusted.
You are a blaggard and a rapscallion.
Good day...
Ha! liar liar, pants on fire!!!

Her eyes
Her filthy eyes
see everything.
She knocks down my walls,
the walls that I have spent a lifetime building
"I see you", she says
I tell her to **** herself
She blows me a kiss
and I swat it away like an annoying fly
A normal person would be hurt
by my utter lack of tact
by my blatantly careless demeanor.
But not this girl
Oh, no. Not her.
She dives into my soul
with reckless, wild abandon.
and swims around in my head,
around and around she goes
making me sick and dizzy .
she is like poison in my blood
like some incurable sickness
and I need her love like I need a toothache
Not at all!
She persists like a relapse
like a tornado on a plain
Her eyes
Her filthy eyes
see everything
and I can not hide.

My friends abroad think I'm peculiarly English
My English friends think I'm peculiarly northern
My northern friends just think I'm peculiar
But at least I've got friends

I was sitting at my computer
All intelligent and nonchalant
When a personality profile test popped up
In the most interesting of fonts

I decided this might be fun
So I clicked onto the site
And right away started answering questions
On what I did and didn't like

As soon as the test was over
With my feet planted firmly on the floor
I hit the button enter
There was immediately a knock upon the door

What appeared to be three business men
All in matching suits and ties
With darkened sunglasses all around
Like Hollywood Movie Stars in disguise

Before I knew what was happening
They threw a hood over my head
And carted me off without the slightest word
Not a single Howdy-Do was said

My new found friends threw me into the trunk
Of a waiting limousine
Where just as quickly as they arrived
We all left the scene

We came to a run down abandoned  Army base
In the middle of the desert
I had the feeling that what it was that was to come
Most certainly wouldn't be pleasant

They set me in the middle of a room
As men circled all around
I knew this had to do with the test
And wondered at it was they found

When in walked "The Bossarooni"
And said don't worry son we're not here to mistreat cha
We're just curious as to why
You like anchovies instead of pepperoni on your pizza

be a feetless floating
gill fin laden underwater
poet, My mouth would still gulp
I would recite and still stutter
all the words in fish languages
and possibly mate
with my father's daughter.
or my brother's mother.

I offered you my time and You shat on it...I hope one day when the high finally fades, you realize what I meant to you and as you look through the shattered pieces of what was once a good bond, I hope you find a reminder of who you used to be,before your cup was filled to the brim and your pride just became too much to swallow.
Who you were before you started needing compliments to feed your ego ,
Before the world only became tolerable to you through a designer drug haze.
You used to be a person before you crowned yourself Queen,
High on your throne where no man could hurt you again.
You figured a Queen without a heart would put you on deck and have you sailing to paradise.
Forgetting you had to carry all your luggage, including yourself.
Feelings have no escape, and if you succeed in escaping love , you still find hate.
It's a foreign word to my tongue
Even though you made me a sidekick and then kicked me aside
I could never hate.
I let you sleep on me but now I'm awake.
You swore to yourself you would never cry, A thought that left not only your eyes but your soul dry.
It's okay to cry
The thing about tears is ,the world becomes blurry momentarily, but at the same time you never see a picture as clear.
Maybe that's why you won't shed a tear, because you are too afraid to look at the canvas you let everyone but yourself paint.
Scared that it won't come out as perfect as you envisioned.
Maybe that's why you had to let me go, because I wasn't the right shade to be put in such a picture.
For what it's worth, you'll always be on my canvas, as a permanent mark, a delicate part of the picture that could not be completed because of its nature...
I guess it took its toll,
Nature that is.
And when the wind blew in our direction the branch we shared wasn't enough to hold us together.
So I let go, this leaf took leave.
I hope your social stature is enough to keep you afloat.
And my final words?
Save yourself.
This is the end, and I hope you are happy.
Just wrote this now...I was inspired...and yes it's 3 am
