When you feel down, you feel so down you turn blue.
When you feel angry, you feel so angry you turn red.
But when you feel scared,  so scared you turn purple.
When you are jealous, so jealous you turn green.
When you feel happy,  so happy you turn a rosy pink.
When your heart is broken, it can turn black.
When you feel emotional,  so emotional you turn white.
When feel stressed, so stressed you can't cope you turn yellow

When I close my eyes
dreamin is such a nice surprise

When I close my eyes
I float away to dreamland
Endlessly floating

Dreamland
Where there are no boundaries
Just endlessly falling away

Good nite everyone
I enjoyed your poetry

Hands ache from this wintered breeze
As a gentle lament drifts sweetly
among the swaying reeds of the estuary.

May comes without the drifting sand of summer.
And loving words are lost upon
the sound of voice and ruins.

I was never afraid of the dark.
Until the night
I noticed how dark it was
#when you’ve nothing better to do.

I am the father
to the son
who will become
the grandfather
of my soul

What I have
proclaimed today
leaves a statement
for the future
someday to be told

and when the wind
is released
it stirs ancient dusts
uncovering
a continuum to bind

Like the sins
that are covered then
we reach forward
back in time

to the father
found in me
will be the son
found later
down the line

Pretty girl
Do you know how many birthday wishes i wasted on mermaid tails and doll skin?
I wanted to be as white as ariel in the arms of a boy who loved a girl without a voice
My cousin calls them snowflakes but she is just as prissy as the flowers who didn't love her as much as she loved their skin...
I wanted to waste away my melanin
I wanted to blend
I've lost count the tears I used to water my dreams of dusty rose cheeks and freckels
I am-
Im not sure of what i am.
But i think she is meant to be as she is
Let's let her grow a while longer
A differnt plant entirely. Naturally. Lovely.

I will not fear the future

I will not fear what the future holds for me

Because I serve the God of the future

And He is in control

Whether it is pain, regret or loss

I will not fear

Because I serve the God who is in control

To those in despair

And ready to pull the trigger on life

I beg of you don't

If you face abuse, fear, guilt, regret or just straight up pain

Depression

Anger

Don't pull the trigger

Don't pull it

Let go of the wheel

Let go of control

Let God control your life

Don't try to drive it

You will crash and burn and the last thing we need

Is another loved one put a pull in their brain

And leave their family behind

Give your life to the God who is in control

Floating down an open stream
lifeless as a piece of string

Passing by a river of sticks
suddenly, I feel a *****

Birds singing among the trees
leaves whispering through the breeze

The soothing caress within this place
nature's melody touching my face

I capture, in the corner of my mind
a pool of fish splashing my eye

Then instantly, there floats debris
passing by me like a swarm of bees

Unexpectedly, I feel a sting
of a branch that's poking me

Hoping to be seen by the light
on this clear summer night

I think I'll just lay here at bay
and cleanse all my cares away

As the fairy man passes me by
my guess is that I'm out of time

For no one may never find
this washed up body of mine

Your eyes
Swimming pools of colors you’ll never see
Black, white
Whatever I look like
Thank you
For seeing
me
