I once
Asked god
For help
But he never came through, faith left me
In a
Moment
Of need,
An atheist
I have been
As I gave
Religion the
Finger, and
freedom
I have
Felt ever
Since, I
Was seven
Years old
The day my mum and dad split up I was 7asked for help- that day I never believed again

You and me together,
We are as one, we are never apart
We are a wishing well
Coins tossed in, joined for life.
We are the opposites,
That attract,
The two wrongs,
That make a right,
We are meant to be apart.
But life has thrown a two sided coin
As one but never more apart,
You are my opposite
You are mine
But love was stronger,
Than that force that was trying
To pull our love apart.
I would love you for all time,
You would be my love
We are wrong but so right
Opposite forces
That will never be apart.

I'm going to punch that ******* out,
for his well-constructed dribble,
for giving me
this perpetual
maddening-inspiration.

O sweet Jesus,
what about loving your neighbor,
surely you jest comrade?

But I do confess,
every time I want to let it go,
the ******* reels me back in
to this solitary place,
this place
to tell a story,
to spill my guts,
to let my heart
all hang out
& bleed,
bleed stardust
kisses
& ******* puppy dog tails.

I want a piece of Jack.

As i Lay here in my spot
In  the hole of hell
With thoughts so in heavenly
I ponder....
Do you ponder what I ponder
Do appreciate the sun on your skin as much as the people that hate being all day in the sun
Toiling.....burning their skin
Just to have a spot to lay
In the hole of hell ... ?
Root of all evil

[Dedicated to our fellowpoet, The DedPoet]

Horror.
Evilness.

We throw up,
our heart
we hang in a rope of tears.

All the gods
are silent.

And blind.

We watch
ourselves,
torned,
a full pain
turning us
into
a punishing fury,
apocalyptical riders.

And then
we see them,
the children.
So restless,
fearfull,
sorrowed...

But they fell asleep.

We watch over them.

And love,
unconditional love,
a forever love kind,
overwhelming love,
makes us understand
we are needed
and we must stay
and we must be able
to learn them,
our children, our own blood,
to trust again.

And we cry
and our tears
are their protection.

And they awaken,
stirred, first,
but we hug them,
the two at a time.
No words are needed.
Just love.
They will know
it is the real thing.

seems like
the
best
idea.

I'm not
going
anywhere,
and I'm
a fool
for
trying
every

day.

THE WIND blew and touched the leaves
With his gentle seductive kiss
He promised a paradise abroad
More beautiful than this.

How irresistible was his caress
How captivating his charm
Soon leaves yearned to travel far
In their new lover’s arms.

In dreams like a newlywed bride
The leaves resolved to start anew
And readied soon to ride the wind
To old friends bidding adieu.

Quickened now the wind’s speed
Once leaves unhooked from tree
The romance showered ebullience
As leaves floated carefree.

But suddenly the wind swayed
Away from the promised land
Drifting close to a naïve daisy
Telling tales from a wonderland.

The leaves fell down and laid forlorn
Soiled, dusted, thrown away
Soon joined them a somber daisy
As the wind rocked the hay.

Bite me, muse
You night time lover
fairweather fickle demon of writes
you shake your stuff in my direction
then run off laughing in the night.

Up yours, muse,
you wanton harlot
spewing fragments, bits of rhymes
take your teasing from my doorstep
sorry *****, don't have the time.

*******, muse
you stinking skiprat
get to steppin' set me free
you mock my gaze with great affection
help me out or leave me be!

******* muse, my new expression
take your words and shove them there
your sun don't shine in my direction
this poems **** but I don't care.
A bit of fun with Cally, I wanted to get a bit sweary, Cal swears a lot (she's Welsh), she's probably swearing right now while reading this...... Hi Cal! :-D
Seasons have weathered
left footprints passing age
yet something is spared
to draw her in my gaze!

It's not as pink as first crush
nor red as primal yore
but white residue of dried brush
that makes me want not more!

I wonder if she knows it
when hold her in my gaze
not slowed a bit this heartbeat
my eyes don't see her age!

She wonders if I know it
when steals on me her look
the pages left are still sweet
love stays an unclosed book!

Nope
But the truth is in the lust, she said
Or at least that’s what they’re selling
Will you run away with me?
Far beneath the midnight
Nothing between us
Our bodies
Blushing,  moonlight
We could hide away, for a while
While the judgments of a world, in love with itself, quietly pass us by
 Jul 2014
Nope
Help me to see you for who you are
To experience, unadulterated
Unhinge and free me
You could burn away this illusion
With a single kiss, tonight
The softest touch
Naked, deception
Please, that feeling
Points me nowhere
Who are you
I cannot explain...
