is it alright?
would you be okay?
if i finally told you
what i think i need to say

is it okay?
would it be alright?
if staying meant missing my departing flight

would you mind?
if i boldly confessed
the words that have been buried
in this cavernous chest

if its not spoken, let it be read
i wish you didn’t exist
beautifully, but only in my head

does it hurt to hear it?
it hurts to say
‘i love you, darling’
escaped in a midnight whisper and tragically flew away

Get closer to yourself
Craving for your attention and care
The heart beats for you first
As you become aware of the world
Welcoming you to the celestial space
Carrying your beautiful soul
With all the pristine feelings intact
Ready to face the world and start living
In this chapter, don’t forget yourself
Pull yourself closer to your inner self

I don't believe that you will die
I believe that you will turn
into a night bird
an Athenian owl

a night bird
that chirps in my ear
who are you
where do you come from
where are you going

I don't expect
my transgressions
to be forgiven.

I do intend
to blanket them
in a new mentality.

When I became yours and you became mine,
did we think we'd stand the test of time?
Did you think we'd last forever?
That we'd weather all storms together?
When we stood reciting our vows,
did you envisage us in our shrouds?

In front of all we took our turn,
repeating words like herds before.
Now, after ten years wed and fifteen together,
have we melded into each other's oppressor?
We love each other, that is true,
but don't you yearn for when we were unconcerned?

The brutal indifference of living is life.
The brutal truth is I will always be your wife.
We were made to stand the test of time.
What's mine is yours, what's yours is mine.
The brutality of this truth is that it extends
to the afterlife.

Riptide
You betrayed me a few months ago
When I needed you to come to my rescue
The way you used to
When my world felt like it was collapsing
That was your cue
But you never came through
And now I need you

The nomadic mind knows no bounds
Oft it prepares to visit many places
Roaming the distant territories
The verdant valleys and the deserts
Drinking from the fresh flowing streams
Also, walking with the camels
Looking for the oasis, left with mirage
Retreating after a hectic day
Under the blue canopy and bright stars
Another journey towards the mountains
An itinerary of the nomadic mind
Yearns for more wandering adventures
Stopping at the intersections of ideas
Where meeting of the vagabond minds
Away from the permanent settlers
Living amongst nature, the nomadic mind

I signed  up  one of my socks for Match.com because it was missing it's match, after doing laundry.
I hate it when that happens
I hope it will find it's match and that they will make a perfect pair.
I swear the washing machine gets hungry and eats socks
I hope you enjoy this comic relief, I wrote.

The moment
I entered your mind
with my manly-essence
was exhilarating.
I felt your lady-warmth
& moved in unison
with your soul.

You told me
you felt fulfilled
as we hung on for dear life
melting our hearts in sweet-heat,
sweeping each other off our feet
in a place they call nirvana.

And as we lay
in each others arms
trembling,
we exchanged
the stuff
fantasies
are made of
& we both know,
know so well,
you can never
have enough
dreams.
