She was prettier than a summer's day,
Like a sparkling pearl.
But now she's gone and flying away,
Where are you now airport girl?

To all the people who
leave their homeland
to escape from their lives
unaware that they
won’t make it alive
on the other side,
oblivious to the horrific
idea that they will
scream and cry
while watching their
babies drown and die:
may the waves carry you
in a better world
than the one in which
we are living now.

I spend a good
part of each day
Writing poetry you see
At times in words
Wishing vision to see
Perhaps I've found
A real life calling
Or just a little thing to
Play with all day

you sweep in on scented night breeze
with utterings that bring you to my knees
intentions set here clear to please
her nature relents freely to your tease

this heady scent intoxicates thee
your affections now aggrandize me
this penners pen will panegyrize you
appetencies too sweet be blown through

this dance transcends base hypnotic
sifts the filaments within unto ******
her delta grande radiates blue a' glow
your beacon signal guides to my flow

as our desire rises to bliss yet unknown
tides overwhelm us then drive us home
the breakers wild crash break all around us
within calm eye our peace is found just.
