Heavy Hearted
I sit here and wonder if you're reading this-
If curiousity overcame you again recently, or not.
Its that time
Where im too exhausted to sleep
And all there is, is the music

And I wonder if you're reading this-
Will you have been part of this moment?
Whenever for you this moment might be.

Connected now, I feel it through-
You infinitely odd ball - creature
Thank you for all you normally do- I acknowledge it through this poem's feature:
So of my art unto,
I will become the teacher
to share with you creations new
as haines floats from the speaker.
And so I wonder if you're reading this

Sofie
it feels amazing to let go
when the hand you held onto
was covered in thorns
They bear the brunt of the heat,
Yet in the scorching sun
Without the respite of a shed,
They don’t complain
But protect what lie below them,
The leaves far down,
The creatures on the ground,
Quietly waiting for the rain!
And when it pours,
They dance in joy
As they get the first drops,
Forgetting all sadness of life!
Can’t we be like them?
I mean the leaves atop the trees
With nothing on their head
Mutely bearing the sun’s wrath
Dancing through all pain
Protecting whatever is down below
Cheerily waiting for rain!

Sana
I long for warmth
Dream of a distant place
Where fire lights the room
Sweet tea eases my soul
And your company
A sure home
For my sweetest escape
Days and nights
Under endless blues
Turned dark that glitters
Through perpetual starlight
We’d laugh and talk
Of silly daydreams
And fearless thoughts
Your hand into mine
Your arms my safest retreat
I’d lay there forever
Somewhere within hidden
In the warmth of you
