Under those far-reached specks
Of joyful glittering stars
Steps a thoughtful wanderer
Like a philosopher in a hazy road of night.

In his wrinkled long lived hands
He holds the book of his soul
Where every word is written
With precision, passion and vision.

The worn-out crinkly papers
Store the wise thoughts and feelings
Which get a complement fillings.
In an every new place of wonder.

For him the adventure and life
Is the most captivating matter
To discover the goodness of people
And write the wise words of jewel.

Roger Turner - Poet
Dignified, sturdy, solid
In all it's equine glory
The fact Mike tried to ride it
Is quite another story
Mike was set to ride the steed
Down the beach to have his lunch
When the horse grabbed Mike's shirt
And then proceeded to just munch
The horse stood nearly 16 hands
Poor Mike stood five foot two
The horse looked down upon him
Most tall children looked down too
Mike steadied it to get aboard
From the left side as he should
He got up and grabbed the bridle
All was seeming pretty good
Mike leaned down to pat it
Lost his grip and tumbled down
The horse just didn't notice
And he peed upon the ground
Mike got up and mounted
Once again upon the steed
He bucked up once and threw him
Mike thought he must be off his feed
The troop of trail ride horses
Made their way along the beach
Mikes horse went on riderless
It was now far out of reach
Mike went back to the hotel desk
Called a cab to beat them all
He was not to be outdone
Just because he'd taken one small fall
He met them at the barbeque
The horses stood out in the field
Mike would eat his lunch and then
He'd make this **** horse yield
He came with a nice apple
and some sugar as a treat
The horse just looked down at him
And stamped on both his feet
While Mike just stood there steaming
The horse ran like a shot
The others were all mounted
And poor Mike's horse was not
It joined up with the others
Leaving Mike away in back
So, he phoned once more for a taxi
And formed a new attack
He was **** bound and determined
To get upon this horse
If not to go out riding
But for a picture, why of course..
He met them at the hotel field
To get his picture just for pride
It didn't matter to him now
That he never got to ride
He'd show the photo to his friends
Of the horse he rode around
Never telling him of his great fall
And how the horse tossed him to the ground
The fact he never rode it
Mike now considered moot
For the horse stood for the photo
And then pooped in Mike's left boot

Twist in remorse but dont endorse change
kiss all my sores then make more of the same
smile at my face then replace all your teeth
guile's not your strength I see fangs underneath
shout with your voice make a choice to conceal
out are the words but unheard is what you feel
the one, together forever we've made what we are
the sun's my attention not to mention...it's only a star

Nite
Here I am standing outside the door
I look around the sea of faces
Hoping to catch a glimpse of the one I adore
My heart's beating like it had ran a million races

Crossing the threshold with trepidation
I made my way to an empty seat
Scanned the crowd again and sighed with resignation
Maybe I was too late I thought to myself as I slumped with defeat

Raised my hand to signal the waiter
That I would like a pint or several
Maybe drop a few bombs by the name of jaeger
And my heart nearly stopped when I saw that someone special

I caught her eye and she cracks into a smile
A smile that I've sorely missed
A smile that made my trip worthwhile
A smile that I could never resist

With our eyes still locked she weaves through the crowd
My heart beats faster as I kept her in my gaze
Thirsting for her touch as if I've been through a drought
She stops right in front of me and enfolds me in her warm embrace

I inhaled the scent of her
A scent that no one could ever replicate
A scent that could never be dispelled by any zephyr
A scent that I've missed for a decade

The night passed by in a flash
I remember the fleeting touches I made
Telling myself that she is really here in the flesh
Hoping that this feeling will never fade

Then a fight broke me out of my reverie
A fight borne out of an inebriated mind
A fight that gave me a chance to hold you like in a memory
A fight that we tried to unwind

I looked into her eyes, eyes that were full of feelings
Eyes that I could fall forever into helpless
Eyes that never fails to tug at my heartstrings
Eyes that has kept me up sleepless

She apologised for the fight between her sister and her boyfriend
Promised me that we'll meet again
With a last kiss she untangles her fingers from my hand
As she got into the cab I prayed that this night wasn't in vain

I hailed a cab and told the driver my destination
When I suddenly realised that due to my hesitation
I've forgotten to tell you three words that I hope you'll value
Which are I Miss You

Sun shining on the white shells
Of pearls cradled in mid-day warm
Sands will not excuse herself

For making them sparkle hot
Under her invisible hands.
Snow landing on the faces of

The battleground fallen
Rests as easily as on the forehead
Of a fever ridden child now soothed.

Tides rise and withdraw, rains
Drench even the drowning.
This is why you must feel the pain

You do. Finish this bad day.
Meet tomorrow
Older.

Here I am standing all awake
Hailing storm inside my head
Lying ahead in front of me
League of lifeless bone and flesh
War, deception, chaos and greed
Kingdom of life is built on them
Once I saw closely at life
The death seemed peaceful to me...

It's a cold cold world out there
Under the glazing sun inside
Dreams turning into nightmares
Ashes started coming alive
Fighting, kicking and screaming
Every breath of waking minutes
When I saw the sleeping corpses
The death seemed peaceful to me...

We grow and grow like a tree
Magic bean high up in the sky
Up we go as we seek
Learning from A to Zee
Time passes with the ride
Mind rushes along the side
More and more I realize
Why death seemed peaceful to me...

I hear you saying
The games that they're playing
Are meant for the
Talented few.

But the power invested
In all of the best, is
The same one that rests
Within you.

South by Southwest
I have seen the bliss
before the morning's dawn .
I have taken kiss from a woman
as she slept like a new born fawn .
I have seen the sun and moon set
together in a western sky .
I have seen all the reasons now
as we let our loving die .

I have seen the fog at times when
there was nothing one could see .
I have seen eternity from the mountains
all the way down to the sea .
I have seen love's kind embrace and
felt it's breath upon my skin .
But I don't even dare to dream
there will be another like you again .

Oh , I have seen paradise through
The yellow of the glass .
Tasted it upon my tongue
And it was so very nice .
I have smelled the rose's fumes
And it permanates the air
For evermore I assumed
But now face cold realities stare

I have seen the petals fall
one by one by one
I have seen the fingers slip away
until there were none .
I have this empty feeling
at the bottom of my pit
God it is so unwilling
I think I'm feeling sick

Our love has evaporated
After summer's rain
Leaving steaming memories
Heat and searing pain
But I have not seen
Nor think I ever will
See a love again like this
Forever that's so real

The slenderness of the delicate letters
The softness of the deep-meaning words
Painted on a snow white paper.
The Silver Poet sits under the dim light
Of the mystic star-knitted universe.

Closing the eyes he feels a crystal tear
Rolling down like a raindrop on the glass
Falling into eternity, dropping on the snowy paper.
The Silver Poet is shivering but has no fear.

The words he limns flow like a pure river
Down the mountain slopes leaving its path
An everlasting mark which will never vanish
The poem comes alive when the Silver Poet breathes.

He takes out his Golden Heart to accomplish the poem
And gives his wondrous soul for the sake of the rhythm.

The poem is ready to become another bright star
Knitted carefully around the Silver Poet's Golden Heart.

Sailing in my thoughts
Like a ship in the ocean
Swaying up and down
               On the poetical waves.

Thoughts are the waves
                     Poetic and creative
Painful and joyous
                        Stormy and calm.

They hit unexpected
             Leaving a mark behind
Like love leaves a scar
           Thoughts leave a notion.

Poets are in need of them
         The ideas of stormy waves
Their mind is able to create
         After a thriving earthquake
Which brings about the storm
                       In the creative days.

Gentle drops of Love
Slide down my heart
The foggy waterfall grows
When the drops gather in one.

The reflection
Of the crystal clear lake
Which resides at the bottom
Of the heart in tears
Is formed in the retina
Of the lucid eyes.

The lake is icy and cold
When the drops are frozen
To melt again in the warmth
Under the tears of Love.
Inspired by Vangelis.

Sunrises in your eyes,
Silences of the dawning skies,
the grace when you stride on by.

  Soft songs
your child sings in rhyme.

The rainbow
when the rain is still,
the silence of my heart when
I lay with you -

Birds that fly so free,
the ocean wave
as it drifts towards me.

Winds blowing high in the trees.
Sleep as it descends on me.

Beauty in the flowers
we hold within.

Nature's course,
it comes and goes,
we know.

There's beauty in
our harmony
our poetry
our one singing voice.

There is beauty
in the lives we
live, as they
run
their course.
