stargazing and telescopes, i don't need those
i need only to look at you
for in your eyes
the whole universe resides

Why my darling didst thou lie?
Encased in arms of another maiden?
Was she prettier than me?
Eloquent in speech and mind?
Wealthier than all the world?
Did she purchase diamonds for you?
Give you pearls?
Was she clingy?
Could you breathe?
Were you pleased with your encounter?
As you swum with sharks.
Wandered with whales.
Why did you try to steal coral for me?
Surely, you knew that the gifts living deep in the sea aren't there for you, to steal for me.
Your buddies dived in to track you down.
Snared by the octopus, in whose arms thou didst drown.
Her beautiful coral, most wonderful crown.
Belongs to her, not you or me.
Deep in the realms of under the sea.

Creeping across the ocean
Like a girl in gray silk
Stealing in after a late night,
Shoes left at the door.
Tiptoes over wooden floors.
Trailing wisps of dreams
With the lightest of kisses.

Da stresse
I shakes off ma back.
Sweet I kno ma lighte
Is one of compassione
One of revamping
I'm a gurl
Of dis and dat.
I'm coming from afar
I tell the woman
the last time I came
I could walk straight to the river
now monsoon mud has made a mess
can only glimpse the river's face
is there still a way on dry feet?

She raises her eyes
no way she says
it's all shrub and slush
but you can have a look at my garden
pomelo and papaya,
gourd and green banana,

I haggle over price
wouldn't settle for less than a bargain

she smiles all the way
succumbs with ease
for the take a bag too she gives.

As I leave her on the falling day
I feel no loss
not finding the river's way.

The Moon

We are the waxen crescent feast of star shine
the poetic moon groom,
the romantic echo of sun
while it murmurs in swishing tide of peaceful sleep
each half of the heart drawn by the moonlit *****
strolling the Titanic proportionate
a two headed bobbing horizon lost at sea
could you dream of me in dune songs
whispering tomorrow dawning in summer sonnets
could you think of me possibly
when ever you gaze up at a waxing Moon.
The power of a woman is  not  to be underestimated at all,
Maybe that's why men are physically stronger than women,
Because a woman doesn't require that much of physical strength,
All it really takes is her mind and how she uses it,
She can create love or hatred,
Make you love sin or detest it.
She can build you or crash you to crumbs if you're not careful.
Women - use your power wisely,to make lives better;to empower.
Men - be wise enough to know how that power is working in your life,is it in a good way??
Yes you may be her head, but she's in your head (get it??).
Men have great power too but in this case I was focusing on my fellow ladies ;) . For any questions - inbox. Peace!

She used to obey his every whim
       Love then was obedience
She used to let him have his way
       Love then was playing along

In those days he was never to be questioned
His every word was like a deity's proclamation
In those days his every fancy was as good as done
His every mood was to be humoured

Now he is the piper and she pays for his services
He plays any melody she demands
She tells him what to dream and how to talk about it
Lady luck deserted him the day the tables turned

you meet her,
and all the wars inside you grow silent
you love her,
and that's when you realize,
she's the only thing
worth the pain of ****** hands

I can write words that wrap around her skin
words that slip deep inside her mind
words that can push deep within her
against slick, receptive flesh
but she is no poem
not metered or unstructured
no words can say who she is
*for she is more
far more
than even the miracle of words
