I've fallen
into a torpor pit
swirling blackness
seals my lips
I close my eyes
but all I see is me,
Disengaged
Deranged
there is no reason
for this smothering gray.

I feel your hands
but they don't penetrate,
Your breath is sweet upon my face,
laughter comes from another place,
this silence remains my only respite,
My words are stifled
in my chest,
My poetry shoots blanks
where ever I tread.

Motivation is a thing
of the past,
Desire's gone at last,
Being is all that's
left within my grasp.

Lavender love in
technicolor plays
out on a screen,
Life travels on the
wisps of Monarch wings -
Breathe heavy and
hot,
Breathe light and cold,
My words they freeze
when they hit the snow.

I know dances unfold,
But no dance partner knows
the darkness that's become my
trembling soul.

It is to this enclave
I go
from time to time,
the winds outside
still howl my name,
While demons
bang on the walls
of my shame.

Call it a mood,
Call it a funk,
Call it the blues,

Sometimes
these holes just open,
Inside I go,
No ladder
only a shovel
wouldn't you know.

Doors without keys,
Echoes without sounds,
And all there is
is
the
darkness
I
have constructed
all around.

South-by-Southwest
The sunlight passes through
the shadow of my smile
Leaving the singed remains
of the fools that I beguile

Heaven sent praises
I keep locked up in a box
All of my Earthly worth
I keep in the drawer hidden in a sock

I am suspicious of every
hello and have a nice good day
I check out all of the closets
I'm sure you're out to make me pay

Your laugh and smile is rubbing
away at my phony bone
I know you're certainly up to nothing good
I can't wait until you leave me all alone

Your sunshine gets lost in my
shadows to your smile
Your hardly honest words just walked away their last lonely mile

So don't mind if I pull the blinds down
I prefer the shadows here within
This emptiness deep inside
will always be my friend

a sharp razor
an outstretched arm
a sudden darkness

When she dumped you
It should have been on top of a bed of cow itch
Unfortunately, for us the seven-year itch continues

You are a really good fisherman,

And I am just but a foolish fish,

                                                                             Preposterously bitten your hook,
With your bait of feigned love attached to it,

Piercing it all the way to my heart,

Leaving me wounded with all of those prevaricates I've fell for,

But I don't know why,

                            I still love the feeling,

That you've been jumping in gladness,

                                             That you've finally caught me,

Even though I was hardly breathing,

'Cause you've taken  me away from the place,

That makes me breathe and gives me joy.

                                 It somehow gives me relief,

                 Seeing the auspicious sun,

Brightly gleaming into my beautiful scales,

Not knowing it was just a start of a baleful Gehenna!

I should've known all along that it's just an entice!

                              But I am still blessed,

'Cause I have manage to escape,

While damaging and harming myself in the process,

From the jailhouse that you've locked me in.

                                                      From then on,

              You've learned a lesson,

And use NET instead.

This morning drifts
upon scattered leaves
as tiny raindrops
fall the eaves
from clouded form
in shades of gray
when sunlight hides
its shine away

The flowers droop
of garden share
neath willow branch
and dampened air
with spider webs
in woven strand
mosaics draped
across the land

And sparrows lie
in huddled rest
on folded wing
within their nest
A dreary day
of tempered mist
when colors found
are darkly kissed

Yet as I gaze
into your eyes
my thoughts begin
with azure skies,
sweet buttercups
of golden glow
in meadows green
their petals flow

Of butterflies
and bumblebees
like rainbows float
through emerald trees
For every beauty
there might be
I find them when
you smile at me

So bring the rain
and gloomy faire
For in my heart
I shall not care
As all my days
begin with you
and there is not
*a better hue
Good morning beautiful

daughter of the light,
the whispering sea
carrying the wind like
a bird of air,
the water ageless and eternal,
dark as a winter cloud,
light as a summer rose.

When the sky grey,
    the sun has gone down
you fail to find your way
all thoughts clogged in the head
and you can't hear a clear voice
vision is biased and speech is altered
hours of introspection seems void
all you need is just a solution
to put back jammed things in motion
looking for people to help you,
and when you can't find some, my friend
just grab it by its glossy waist,
lift it, put it to your thirsty lips
and pour down your throat this solution
for your heart needs an internal repair
to lift you up from this momentary dispair
When all problems pile up in a sum
the only solution that works is the *** !

If you offer Moses porkchops
And Ghandi t-bone steaks
An Amish woman lightbulbs
You have what it takes!

If fish ain't on the menu
For a Catholic's Friday meal
And you fast on a Fat Wednesday
You're the real deal!

If at a Mosque you're dancing
While they're bowing to the east
If you use a salad fork
To eat the main course feast
At Episcopal church functions
Then don't give a dime
At Joel Osteen's mega-church
Man, you're right on time!

Non-religious offenders
Really should unite!
Just do what comes naturally!
Don't give up the fight!

Far from being reverent
Take it one step more!
Diss ol' jolly Santa
While looting big box stores!

But watch the gays and lesbians!
Jokes we won't allow!
Or political gurus and women

For those are sacred cows!

Don't get me wrong.
I don't like nor want to diss ANYONE.
But "political correctness" has gotten
really over the top.
The only group it seems "correct"
to diss are Christians. I guess in
some instances we have it coming.
But we are automatically put in the
category of greedy, lustful, crazy, ignorant (or downright stupid)
INTOLERANT HYPOCRITES.

What happens when you point
the finger? Yep. You got it.

POEM 20

T-shirt soaked with frustration
while standing knee deep in apathy
and the way we are unbalanced
by this cultural abyss of life.
Could it be we have lost
the wonderment of awe
that once guided our hands
to paint cave walls?
Or the excitement felt
while looking at the swirl
of a star filled night,
tasting each twinkle
as if it was talking just to us?

Hell,
how many realize
that only 112 years ago
we first stepped into the air of flight,
and already can see
Pluto’s Tombaugh Regio.

So why do we allow
a depraved, me first,
everything for money social norm
unbalance our lives,
demand our conscious mind
be so limited
when we are capable
of so much more?

We already soar beyond the horizons,
why shouldn’t how we treat each other
and our planet
also soar
to such heights?

***
*** doesn’t mean just ***
Some folk often mistake this word
for a roll in the hay
~
What would happen if someone?
In a crowd yelled ***,
and the other person
shouts fire, fire!
Which one would get the most attention?
this might surprise you
~
Just watch as the crowd move back and forth
back and forth
Pressing against each other just to take a look
Now that’s a ****** stimulation
On the other hand shouting fire
create a dangerous situation
so what’s good for the goose is not good for the gander
