I fell in love with you before I met you.

One day
your parents
will put you down
and never, ever
pick you up again.

A gentle rains falls
mesmerizing
in sight and sound
Wistful thoughts
invade
She feels
the loss
of the love
she never had

What if i tell you
I'm much more that you see?
Have you ever asked yourself
How much you know of me?

You see my smiles
And laughs and cheers
But that's nothing compared
To the wails and cries and tears

You see I help
Whoever's in need
But have you ever seen
Someone who's helped me indeed?

You see a good talker
Who can always grab the crowd
But there are things I want
That I'd never shout out loud

So you don't know me
And don't pretend that you do.
Because you know of me
As I know of you.
True feelings. Everyone can relate.

You never feel like you're being used until they stop.

She's an alphabet artist
she paints in words,

from a palette of adjectives,
nouns and verbs,

the landscape she finds
in the folds of her mind

she exhibits in volumes of verse.

I'd rather drown in the sweet, warm memories of you.
Feeling alive again.
In no need of hiding the true me.
Just let me drown,
let me drown,
let me drown,

into the comfort of your loving embrasses.
Instead of being a walking dead.
With the ball chain of psychological pain at my feet.
wearing a clowns mask.
Receiving the pecking orders from many,
for being cold-hearted.
This is the feeling I had from my previous poem "I have fallen".
