Aayush Vasudeva
As the sun rose up and the stars came down,
Morning dawned upon the town,
but the darkness didn't fade, as something came along,
To finally right the drought's wrong

Temperature dropping, birds chirping,
Thunder roared, as the aves beat wing after wing,
The scent of fresh mud clouded our nostrils,
and the crashing of water droplets had our ears filled

We ran as our footwear pounded the drenched land,
Only to notice the street dogs huddle under shelter,
Shaking themselves to get rid of body sand,
and expose their glossy fur

Soon enough, mother nature ended the delightful downpour,
Leaving us craving for more,
but the best part is the fact that monsoon has just begun,
So leave a smile on that face, for things are still great without the sun!!

words create a soulful like
to what is supposed to be
a picture creates a glimpse
of worlds beyond you and me
A picture, a photograph
is what happens, in words
when we let it
we express our focus
we never forget it
For in our hearts
such words evolve
from pictures we are,
as art
no words can describe
the scribble
that has been etched,
upon our heart

By the capture of the Clouds,
the Moon and the Star

in one such frame
we sit in silence
only to marvel
in very amicable thought
*we are as we are
To be a Moon and Star in a Cloudy Sky... don't ask why, just be :)

Inhale deeply of the seas

  whilst your days are youthful

   and lips blush with dawn,

surrender your passion

to enchantment 'pon  the

      ***** of wildflowers' bloom,

dance within winds' touched beyond

     fiery kisses of sensuality's desire,

allow your affections to waft midst

heartfelt poetry & lustful love songs,

feel the earth between your toes,

   before sensibility denies passage

and your eyes become a vintage flush

'tween life's unkind shades of blue,

& what was once unveiled amid moonbows

     on hot summers' reminiscent twilights

Your eyes dance with me, a sweet un-changing melody. I find myself orbiting you, as if I were the only planet in your solar system.
To find myself wrapped in your arms a desirable longing that's left unquenched.
I want to see your bottom lip tremble, to feel the gasp of breath escape your parted lips.
I want to feel you quiver beneath me as you sing a harmonious tune.
Lock eyes with me within our dance.
I want to sing for you, too.
