Beyond the walls of sandbars and streams
waves break into silent white foams
often I've crossed them in my dreams
beckoned by the distantly looming haze.

The sky goads me to traverse the stretch
clouds hinder to ask what if rises the tide
the sea is all around in deadly embrace
her monstrous curls in hunger bared wide.

Climb the sandbars and reach her remoteness
calls the wind of the sizzling September
days as this would be gone in haste
shelled in memories to be ever remembered.

I slip into the lagoon in a drunken trance
the ripples break into a victorious song
the sea she breaks into a joyous dance
the time is here and the tides won't be long.

I tip my hat to the Poetess,
the Word Witch whose spin enthralls,
with language arranged in patterns,
and verse that often calls.

Her art is to conjure images,
the Sorceress whose quill entrances,
with phrase beautiful in texture,
and a word that often dances.

Her creations are her offspring,
the High Priestess whose rhymes capture,
with stanza's keen in construction,
and meanings that evoke pure rapture.

Take a peek inside his poems
if you really want to know him.
He hides himself deep, immersed
a tiny piece in every verse.

Take a peek and take your time
savour the moment of every line.
Relish the thought of what lies there
and appreciate his soul laid bare.

Give me the breezing through trees any day
grant me the gift of silent Sunlight to be captivated
and all the company of solitude;
over the clamour of the masses, any day.

the stems are
entwined in the fingers

pluck not the light
of the blossom
which heals

I'm going to try to read all day today. I have a lot to catch up on. Please be patient with me. I never skim poetry. It is meant to be inhaled with reverence. Its scent fills my senses and often I am inspired to write. Thank you for understanding.

YOU'RE ALL AWESOME!

Time chimes the hour
and the years tumble.
A jumble of bricks.
Heaped straws
until finally drawn
the short end of the
stick. Time chimes
the hour. And the
reaper comes a
visiting. Claiming
the harvest of chaff.
The husk you left.

Buoyancy with her arresting eyes
Looking at her with euphoria
Taken aback seeing her smile
With a titillating wink
