There will come a day
the wind will cease to exist
it will be you alone with Jesus
he died 2, 000 years ago

on the cross
for all the world to see
what was his prayer
what was his final plea

father forgive them they know not what they do
he said the prayer now the rest is up to you
we must all stand at the judgment seat of Christ
to appear before the one we have to do

no condemnation to those who are in Christ
once this life is through
you don't get a second chance to roll the dice twice
he knows us by name

the very hairs on are head are all numbered
it will become evident to everyone to see
the love of God will knock you to your knees
what is my one last humble plea

love is the essence of are existence
you paid the debt so I could go free
tormentors disagree
blackened hearts with cloven eyes

yet in that hour we shall be set free
What would you do if suddenly, you had to give up your perfect life? What would you do if you had to throw it all away? If God called on you to follow him and leave it all behind, would you really say. Would you make excuses as those invited to the bridegrooms dinner? Would you say to my family I must go and say goodbye? Would you be able to tell God the truth, or would you hang your head and lie? If he said follow me, and leave it all behind. What would you really say?
My way or the highway. That is the current trend. We cannot have a conversation, because your words will offend. I need my safe space and where is my therapy dog. What has become of us, where has courage gone. There used to be a will to fight, but it has gone away. We have given in to hate and let children have their way. Elders are treated with contempt and no one can agree to disagree. Nobody wants to be responsible, how can this be? We have given up our will to fight and stand for what we believe. No one will pay a price, they just give in you see. So when the next generation takes control and in time they will. Because we gave in to their intolerance, it is we who will pay the bill.

How can such beauty give birth to such insane savagery.

who will write poems if not you?

it matters little that they be read

the fact they are born at all

is witness to another place of love

(unique expressions of abundant life)

and love is never a waste of time.
Isn’t peace indicative…
of a Godly, quiet heart?
How else can one explain

the calm that’s realized
during personal storms?
Does His Presence remain

with us, in these times
of temporary crisis? Do
souls remain untroubled?

Can our spirits continue
unafraid, allowing us to
go forward with redoubled

efforts, to reach others
with the Gospel, as part
of… Heaven’s campaign?

Your steadfast love

Your steadfast love O Lord never ceases to amaze me
My mind is in a state of awe at the vastness of your love
The vastness of your love could cover mountains at just a
Thought from you

If I were to count the amount of love you have for your children it would outnumber the stars and outweigh the grains of sand.

Just to think that your love existed before we came to be
If all your love was revealed, if all creation declared it if all nature proclaimed it, the oceans would drown in your love for your love is far deeper and your love is wider than the sky, for the sky is but a mere breath in comparison to your love.

Therefore, it is more magnificent than a mountain waterfall and furthermore. it never runs out. Yet it is always contained in your hand and freely poured out.

Hearts shout for joy with even a touch of your love for your love is warmer than a summer day.
Your love is steadfast and is a fortress forever to those who place their trust in you.
This poem I wrote quite a while back but it had been lost in an old notebook. I found it recently and I am finally posting it. I hope you like reading it my friends. If you like it feel free to comment, as always I appreciate your feedback.
