My Weather

Among the fake ones and the extreme
Lost within minimalism's dream
I tried to find you
Among the talks and whispers
But there were no sign of you
I ketp walking
Among the kings and the citizens
You might be the boy who works for them
I started crawling
From the sun to the moon
Among the breezes of darkness
Between the moist in the sand
Between the gap of each dying star
Between the splashes of thundered billows
In the sandstorms of my own heart
I found you
You were there, my darkest weather
Watching over me
all along

I fall like a little drop in my coffee
drawn like a diffusing smoke in the air
Take away the scent of cigaret off my lunges
I don't want to smell like her

I fall asleep like a little child in my fantasy
Dream when I wake up and not at all asleep
Wake me up, let me see the other side
He might have missed me more than her

I
I'll bring light to your cave through my shadows
Guid your blinded steps
Read to you with my dyslexic tongue
I, my dear self
Will do that secretly until you see light
Until you see me
I'm not sure to call it a poem

You shake up my insides
You fill my stomach with butterflies
You hurt my thoughts and brain
You give me so much pain
You make my heart beat faster
You create a horrible disaster
You make my legs feel like noodles
You make my mind seem very feudal
You shoot me with arrows like cupid
You make my actions look stupid
You cause a lot of drama and commotion
Because of all of these emotions

Go, throw yourself into the sea.
Let the sky catch your cares.
Let the wind wipe your tears.
Let the waves caress your skin.
Let the water catch your fall and lift you up
until the sun kisses your face.
Not all is lost when thrown into the sea.

She is not merely a bookworm
She does not read for pleasure
She reads to survive
She reads to distract herself
She reads to thrive
Her words do not collect dust upon the shelf.
She is a devour-er of books
Ink drips from her lips as she tries to
Contain the words that she bleeds
She exhales chaotic eloquence
Her tongue wrestles to wrap around words more
consumed than heard
Her mind races to find that one perfect
syllable to turn her phrase from
biting and bitter to
savory yet sarcastic
Her smirk is merely a collapsing floodgate
Words will soon flood free
Watch her eyes, you'll see
She is not merely a bookworm

Disappear here
why
 Aug 2015 Jason
Disappear here
why
why is it that
even with the bleariest eyes, the most grainy minds

I find myself wide awake

owl-eyed at 4am

high on the thought of you, sweetheart.
get out of my head you intrusive *******

Disappear here
something I've never understood is how it's the saddest people that think the most beautiful thoughts
 Aug 2015 Jason
Disappear here
you'll never realise how toxic the air around you is

until you stick your head out of the window
 Aug 2015 Jason
Disappear here
I take a deep breath and pause for thought

with a tiny smile and my eyes closed

I know that if I open them, I'll see myself

and there is nothing that I hate more.
