Outstretched
And
Exposed
To find
Yourself
In
The
Chasm.

Displaced
Consciousness
As if
A Phantom.

Holding your soul,
Close to your body.

Rolling
Into
A Cocoon
Of
Newly
Spun
String.

Rolling, rolling, rolling...
To where?

Towards
Undetectable
Cosmos.

Unending,
Then crystalizing
Over sudden sunsets,
Infinitely,
Across the horizon.

Moving towards
Abstractions
Faster,
As concrete
Fails to set
Within them.

Swept up
On the stairwell
Of a helix,
Waiting to
See where
It ends.

Caught up
In the never-ending
Space of Obscurity
That sometimes seems
Forbidden.
This poem might not appear to make sense at first.  It came to me as a visual image that suddenly popped into my head as I was thinking about how I feel about a life situation that I've struggled with for a while. It actually has dual meanings as after I wrote it some subcontious thoughts also surfaced.  I've heard poetry is good therapy and believe it. So the inspiration came as the sun started to go down as it does now at 4pm.  I was thinking about a piece of life, closed my eyes and saw myself exposed and naked laying in a dark, empty space. Then I realize it, and so my entire being rolls itself up in a cocoon for protection to find that my mind is very abstract and struggles in this concrete world, especially around a lot of people who are very concrete and black & white thinkers. It's time to find a new field but it seems like a big leap. Just thoughts and visualizations put to words....
Wandering this lonely terrain
Trying to escape the nightmare I live
I yearn to fly away from pain
The ghostly love you give

Trust has become a scarcity
In our darkest hour
Someone wise once told me
Solitude will grant you power

I have no one, no belongings, no home
Reduced to a vagrant without your embrace
Feet and emotions fated to roam
Until they find their purpose and place
I feel so directionless by myself

Here I am
Did you miss me?
You can’t get rid
Of what we all need
I am your hollow
Beneath your shallow
Nonexistent invisibly

I am with you
Behind the curtains
Within the wood
The fire set free

I am your sorrow
Awaiting tomorrow
I am the love
The heaven you seek

I am indeed

Had another nightmare I just woke up
fro m, Most likely won't be falling asleep again. In the end, It will all fit together.
I feel insane.
Lost.
Betrayed.
Broken.
Hurt.

I can live with my sanity, "Nevermore."
A little poem for all of you Edgar Allan Poe fans like me.
Still sick, most likely will be posting Monday.
In the end, It will all fit together.
War
War, the war to end all wars they said, only they told lies,
For pain, conquest and wealth is what they devise.
~
War, the war to bring freedom they said, yet, the only ones free,
are the ones that lost their lives.
~
War, the war to bring a great leader to guide us all, but only
they control the leader, and they control them all.
This is just a little poem I thought I would throw on here, I have do have a much deeper meaning for it, good job if you can find it.

Also I might not be able to post tomorrow (3/23/18) but I will try to, I'm lucky I was even able to post one today.
Fame, the thing most of us want dear, yet some of us aren't able to
reach it, and they are left down here.
~
Fame, the thing most of us want dear, yet those who don't, somehow make
it there from down here.
~
Fame, the thing most of us want dear, yet those who get it, are usually
always in a fuss.
~
Fame, the thing most of want dear, but not me, because I'm fine
just down here.
I am trying out a new style of writing my poems, but this is one of my favorite poems that I wrote so far.
Don't forget to tell me what you think!
