We light the flame; a golden teardrop radiating the warmth we so desperately want to feel from you,
but you were taken from us too early; you grew your angel wings and flew.

The candle has become the memorial we remember you by because you're high up in the sky;
it provides the bright light that was extinguished when we lost you and had to say goodbye.

Snowflakes
on the bed.
Moonlight
on the couch.
Blossoms
in the lap.
Sweetsop
in arms.
Love song
on lips.

Here I am
I'd rather be
More now than then

A purge urge of
Places when

Say it different?
Do it different?
Be it different?
Is it different?

Woodpecker, can't you
Discern between sturdy oaks
And my windowsill?

when we left, we promised it wasn't the end
too many ups and downs
we got through them together
broken hearts, sensitive souls
we filled them with laughter and happiness

theres no one to blame
take a minute,look around
we're all in the same game

we were too busy growing up
we didn’t  realise
we were growing apart, too

(some things about you I've been dreaming about;
the blue in your eyes, your curls
your arrogance, your scent
the way we'd argue
and I'd let you win
I'd get angry with you and stop calling
the next day I miss you
can't help, its true
you hated that I'd often come over
borrow your things just to keep them
I still have them, by the way)

you knew how much I hated that town
I hated you too, for leaving first
I wonder where you are now
whether you've found yourself
it's ok if you haven't
I haven't either

we were just kids when we met
we promised we'd never part
we were better together
we promised we'd visit
we promised we'd call and write
I never did
life got in the way
I hope you find it within you to forgive me
maybe when you're around
we could go by the river
drink cold beer and reminisce
a poem from the future
============================
Unplug is easier said than done thanks to social media, but
Caretake this moment
Immerse in present's particulars
Stop giving yourself needless trouble
Exert your Will-power to change negative into positive

Life is a practical battlefield
When you go to college
You learn to become better person
By knowing how to cope with, evil, vices, and needs

Yesterday's solution may not solve your today's question
Take help of parents and teacher
See everything with fresh mind

Think hard what you believe and stick to clear thinking
Make yourself confident person of clarity, and consistent
Nobody can hurt you unless you permit
Renounce external once and for all
Start practicing Self-sufficiency

Get off your phone, Facebook, Twitter
Talk to your own people for direct connection
Things happen, what you think and plan
The material is your life
No great thing is created suddenly
There is time
Give your best and always be kind
