We chase our dreams down highways
we look for them in eyes and words
But aren't we all just silly fools
trying to fix what hurts
I look out and see the city
All the shining lights
The cars coming and going
The people living
And think
Wow.
I live in a big world

Running, sitting, waiting at the gate

Coming or going?

Distance makes things look smaller

Perspective is key

Tell me your story,

Traverse your fact and fiction,

Please, I will listen.

Cover to cover,

I don’t want anything more,

who are you, really.

I want to hear it,

I won’t say a word, honest.

be you, who you are.

Andrew Durst
I've been in love
(or thought I was)
twice now
and I'm only
twenty years old.

I've spent my entire life
practicing the art
of letting go
and I lost track of
my losses
because I've never
been good with
numbers.

I have
added,
subtracted,
divided
and solved
my way back
to you

countless of times

and this is how
I know I am

no good at math.
