This does not hurt
as much as I had
thought it would.
Although you ran
a bulldozer over
my midsection, I am
somehow still breathing,
somehow still getting up
and moving, because
what else can I do
except go on?
I am going to try this time, really, I am.
This is for you,
You who felt like the world was trying to smother you out of existence,
you who felt the pressure to be the same even though we are all different,
you who was ridiculed and abused because of something you could not control,
you who needed to be free even as you were caged and shackled,
you who felt invisible and alone,
you who felt the need to apologize for who you were,
you who felt the pain was to much to bear,
you who felt the need to take a blade to your skin,
you who tried to numb the world into a blur,
you who were left broken and shattered,
You are a part of me as much as i am a part of you,
You who denied those who tried to bring you down,
you who defied gravity and took flight,
you who found yourself in the mist of despair,
you who are different and proud,
you who are once again whole,
you who found love in the end,
I am you and you are me,
This is for you...
a very personal and heartfelt poem
watching the moon high in Colorado sky
I started writing this out in the dark of the night

waiting for dawn to bring on a "Home"
that the tree-top blue reminds me of .

A silent song plays in my head ,
thoughts and memories drift like fog on the wind .

painting a picture with words to express
untamed, unnamed feelings that boil in the breast .

It sings sometimes . . .
from the corners of her eyes ,
the warm glow of the west .
Ready, willing and always at best
to fall from midnight's mountain moonbeams ,
far more frightening a thought than would seem ,
and dance upon tables of unrest
[of] this weary broken traveler's still beating chest .

?
I want to see you,
Meet you,
Awkwardly introduce myself to you,
I want to love you,
I just want you to be here right now.
#love   #longdistance   #imissyou
While you worry
For someone
To see past
Your flaws,
I will be locked
In the embrace
Of someone
Who took the time
To look at them hard enough,
To caress the very surface of
Imperfection,
To  dig skin-deep
Until he found
What once made the flaw
Beautiful.
Hey there,
I heard you see stars
You look a lot like them, are they your sisters?
Stars for eyes, the sun for a body
Making aphrodite look so ungodly
Even gravity couldn't pull you down
Now I know the meaning of heaven bound
Even oxygen followed you to the moon
So I guess you're breathtaking and I will die on you
Imperfection is beauty, but you're way past that
You're flawless, you're more than a goddess
We kissed in a kitchen, it was great
But now the food is jealous of how your lips taste
If I could, I would write on the moon for you to see
And say 'I Love you, Do you Love me?'

Yours truly,
Moore
Inspired by the girl in the ripped jeans
I hate you girl.
And I will never say
I think about you so much
Its funny how
I fell for you
But at the same time
I hate you
I always said
You were perfect to me
But you weren't
You were ugly
My friends said
You were the best
But they lied,
You weren't worth it.
People said
I still love you, but
I loved you.

sultry breeze stirs
lifts the soft curtain of night
and shows in deliciously warm light
the curves and subtle lines of my lover
her breathing one of dreams
like the sea slow soft wet warm
nestle in closer to the tangle of hair
wrapped round like fingers
her lip moves ever so
driving me onward the deeper road
the taste of the cradled moment of her eyes in mine
the tapestry of her words weaving strange
and the wonders of the approaching night
like a road
like a path of dreams
heartbeats and whispers
my love
sleeps sweetly
while i wait for the rain
