You don't see me.
I don't say much.
But just trust me.
I'm still watching.

overcast
you sit
**** on mango skin
the juice on your chin
drips on
basil leaves,
your hands already wet
before the rain
we watch the yellow mountains
spring back to life
verdant, almost emerald
green foliage tender at the end of summer,
nourished by the dead roots
beneath softened soil.

I love the little girl
Inside the woman
So I always come bearing
Gifts for each

We sometimes wonder
What life
Is all about
I have no idea
And
I will never
Stop
Trying
To find out

Silence
Can be so beautiful
Especially
When it comes
After a long time
Of
Thoughts

STARRY STARRY NIGHT

She switched off the moon.

Plucked out the stars.

A little dog barked
as her scream scrawled:

“This time life has gone...too far.”

She took an overdose of sleeping tablets
in her big bright red car.

The day withers
that was once in bloom.

Petals fall
in an empty room.

The moon wept.
The stars cried.

Life was for living... Life lied.

a droned voice
can put you to
daydreaming

so be thankful
for that diatribe
that tortured mind

in the background
of your dreaming
a door to open.
