when the sunsets in arizona  descending in the sky
the cactus are in sillouhette standing near by.

gentle winds are blowing across a sandy plain
and tumbleweeds begin to roll and tumble once again

a picture to behold that will never die
when you see the sunset in the arizona sky.

It's been more than a month, when is long enough?
When blades are blades and knives are knives,
Rather than relief for when times get tough.

How long do I wait, for dark scars to fade?
When will the urges be something to evade?

Why isn't anything innocent anymore?
Just new methods of pain, waiting to be explored.

How can I stop wishing that when I hold an edge,
It would slip, just a bit and I can have revenge.

But for now, I have to be patient,
And keep myself away.
From all the edges, points and harm that taunt me every day.

I looked beyond her and forgot to make room for her smile, that went unnoticed fading as a shadow on my face.
I can't help him when I can't even help myself anymore
Because days have turned into months and I'm just dying to crawl
Out of my skin and out of this world
it's full of sadness and carelessness and misery and doubt
And I had you back for a moment and now you're walking back out
And I can't keep apologizing for stupid little things
And giving people advice when all I need is an embrace
To let me know I am human and that it will all be okay
But I'm sinking in sorrow and the snow just keeps falling
And I can't help but wonder what would happen if I laid down on the ground
And let this white blanket consume me
Would I die and be reborn or
Become absolutely nothing
we all remember the things we did
years a go has a kid.

days at school were the best
exams and friends and all the rest.

all the games we used to play
like knock on doors then runaway.

the days they had for teachers rest
as you became your mothers pest.

these are things that we all did
in the good old days as a kid.

The Moon Of  My Nights

Some nights you shine
So brightly full and filled with life
Like a moon full night
Never have I seen someone
So whole, complete, and fine

Other nights you fade
Into shadowed sorrow and darkness
Like a waning moon
Never have I seen someone
So halved apart, and blue

Every night I watch
You wax or wane
Like the moon in the sky
You stand out to
Brighten my every night

A poet's heart isn't like any other...
It's the tears that trickle with radiance through words.
It's a treasure trove that hides but longs to
     be found.
It's a book shelved high that wants to
          be read.
It's the freest of all birds caged but
               unbound...

A poet's heart isn't like any other...
It doesn't beat to the capable strokes of the artist.
It doesn't pump in the most vibrant of
     colours.
It doesn't wield a paintbrush to
          translate its thoughts.
But it can see through the eyes of
               painters...

A poet's heart isn't like any other...
It doesn't conform to the conventional parameters of lyrics.
It doesn't bind itself to the requirements
     of musical harmony.
It doesn't follow the conventions of
          genres.
But it sings its voice loud without
               restrictions of melody...

A poet's heart isn't like any other...
It's an open secret, that whispers in metaphoric codes.
It's an exploding universe, that merges
     back into galaxies.
It's a sought after painting, that boasts
          of unfathomable beauty.
It's an everlasting song, that echoes
               within the poet that embodies...
.
Dedicated to all of you...

If you're reading this...
This is for you...

Bleeding

bones
We danced toward
each other's wounds

with gentle step
and touched inside

and now the bleeding
has resumed

and all this blood
is hard to hide.
