Come cries of new life
Signals the war of birthing
Hands held at your side

New day, new haiku!
This one is fot Eileithyia, Goddess of Childbirth.
Personally, I dont have any kids but I have been told many stories of how hard it is to go through, contractions and all. On top of that, I have read many tragic stories where the child lives but the mother does not.
Metaphorically speaking, it sometimes can be a difficult war to truly win as for some it can be bittersweet.
I wish all mothers, new and experience joy and happiness!

Swathed in cloth of gold
Strokes for wolf and lions tamed
Charm him with her cups

You know what time it is! Another haiku ^-^
Thanks again for all the love and support! I saw Hekate was trending for a while, im really grateful! 🙏
Todays haiku follows another woman of myth, the Enchantress Circe, another woman I adore.
Ive read so many myths about her as well as Madeline Miller's novel, Circe (a fantastic read and adaptation of her story - her writing is impeccable. A definite recommend!)
Her role in the Odyssey I've always found somewhat charming, as charismatic as enigmatic as Hekate in a way. And I always try to be playful when conveying sensuousness also hehe!
Thanks again everyone, it truly himbles me to see people enjoying this series! 🙏💜

Describing your garden
Your birds and bees
The sent of honeydew
Your colours are free

The petals of your femininity
In beautiful words for all to see
You are a Poetess
Only a Poet need read

Written in your private text
Passionately I connect
Consuming your aesthetic release
You are my priestess
I am your priest
All the way form access the sea!

The life of the dew

In the morning

On the flowers, beautiful it looks

To the human eye

To condense and collect

To drop as a dewdrop

To holdback, it knows not

On this earth, it lets go

In the morning hours upon the grass

As there is sunlight up the sky

Beautiful, the life of a dewdrop

Mistress of Crossroads
Death sings loud on moonless nights
Palms towards the stars

New day, new haiku! This one is for Hekate, Goddess of Magic and Crossroads.
I just adore the stories around here, theres an enigmatic charisma that surrounds her. Just some magical pull she has...
Honestly, I cant express how much I love her enough, haha!
