As I lie here
With eyes closed softly
I think deeply of you
And I inhale stars
The scent of twinkling light
So fresh and alive
Sparkling gentle inside me
And I want to write this feeling
So tentatively
As it must be
Like writing words on bubbles
Delicate and precious
Begging them not to disappear
Like dreams in the morning

This may well be my last poem here.

I came here on a dreary morning
and knelt down by your grave.
You always meant so much to me,
Strong, defiant, brave.

Even after saying goodbye,
My love for you still grows.
and I can feel your presence with me
through these cemetery rows.

It was ******* all of us,
Until the end you tried to fight it.
I know you need an epitaph,
but I can't bring myself to write it.

Now, I promise you my dear one,
even though you are departed.
You can count on me to finish
all the amazing things you started.

The funeral was a small affair,
Just as you requested.
A remembrance of a too short life,
with a lot of love invested.

And after it was over,
When they laid your coffin down.
I stayed there it seemed forever,
sitting on the softened ground.

Finally I found the strength,
to wipe away my tears,
Pick myself up off the dirt,
and set aside my fears.

I don't like you not near me,
Everything seems so unfair.
Life feels cool and empty now,
when I don't have you there.

Your room is as you left it.
Now that may seem a little much.
But there's nothing in there at the moment
I even want to touch.

There's no medicine to heal my heart
I don't like being all alone.
So every Sunday I come by the graveyard,
and spend awhile by your stone.

Did i prevail to land well
My femininity beneath my shell
Into glassy true words
Who accept and not repel?
Do these letters ever meet
The concept beyond this sheet?
Or the magic hand of rhythm
Tangles them on its spell?
Will they be the worthy heirs
To lend them my deepest fears?
Or they refuse and betray
The story they must tell?
Ring the bell ring the bell
Doom has broken to my cell
Of all unspoken tales
Listen to "my little hell" .
We are doomed to say what we really want to say

Sweet little eyes black and shiny.

Curious with my work, he's chirpy.

Hops and bops about, I trace a smile.

Beak, now agape, sings for a while.

'Rotund little Robin won't you dance some more?'.

'Skipping and pipping upon the forest floor'.

'Red little tummy containing your words'.

'Lost on my human ears, yet not unheard'.

'Little Robin, so happy, why am i not so?'

On little Robin I focus, my mind is sewn

"Be happy with your job" says Robin

"And fret you not of my boppin'"

"There's work must be done so dont you be a'stoppin'!"

"Though i might flutter from twig onto branch"

"My home is left decided by human chance"

"Should we build here or should we build there"

"Words of men against Robin, no matter how fair"

"Sweet little song you qualify my shouts?"

"Without ever considering what they're really about?"

"All I've ever seen of humans is their louts"

"So this boppin' Robin needs a'helpin' out"

"I see in thee good it is true"

"Hope; that never shall you see green land in gloom"

"Yet in back of your mind i see thoughts of doom"

Robin flutters away and I am left to wonder.

Should I leave this world now will I be thought of fonder?

The first time she looked up
She fell in love with the sky
Her heart reaching higher
The only answer was to fly

So she made wings of her heart
Carved dreams into feathers
Bid farewell to earth
And fluttered towards ether

But gravity loved her too
Had no intention to let go
Pulled her firmly to the ground
And broke her wings in woe

Run
I can't breath
They are looking at me
Hide
I want nothing more
Than to die
Fight
A swing a miss
If only for a kiss
Fear
For my life
I refuse to live
Like this

What other kind              of creature could divide
Each different thing             into its different sides
With chaos versus             order, dark and light
The stark duality of         wrong and right
We even split the very        world in two
With human versus human,       we and you
But still no matter how much      we divide
Each thing has infinitely many      sides

I can no longer hide
My soul ignited

once disparaged
I long to share it

The chills in my spine put into words

Lips on skin
Eyes filled with sin

What is this sensation

I drip colors you cannot see

Heightening my passion
Enhancing my touch

Raw emotion channeled as such

My desire aches
The color of flush
My cage breaks
Expressions of lust

I do not fear it
I can hear you blush

My favorite sound

Our souls combust
My restless soul longs for something fulfilling
