I’ll stay in and write poetry
Come home and tell me stories
I’ll have more to write about in the morning.

This is new to me
Smiling like this
Leaning into kiss
Everything I don’t know
But I feel the significance
I feel love it’s so intense

The trees move quietly but the wind tells them to yell
Your embrace feels like heaven but my mind sent me to hell
Inspiration drips from your eyes and i caught every one
The calls became longer and i grew stronger
Even the disaster of our very first kiss
Innocence was the taste of your lips

Pencils on paper
People talk about the parties later
but you’re wearing a blue stripped shirt today
And I can’t help but notice

A pen is so much easier to pick up when I am writing about her
The ink is more dominant as I write her name
For everything I write is her
The wind was even blown away
But she will be mine one day
We can dance up hills and roll back down
Sail around the world
not fear the night get out of this town

Evening attire
This need of mine seems prettier dire
To love you
Countless smiles
laughing till you cry
Everything in between

I love you.
That was the beginning.
Now it is the end.

Knowing not what to know, but how to be
Knowing not what to do, but when to leave
Blindness in you

What a world to live in
What a world to see

You caught me staring
Smiles exchanged
to nervous to ever look back
But I do
Continuously admiring you

I want to write a book
So many things to say
Arguments to have
No one speaks
A lot of love to share
The audience is now listening
But the silence has never been this quiet
SO I WILL TALK LOUD FOR THEM TO HEAR
And I will not write in all caps, but my words will shout their meaning.
Stay there read as I type
Wait till I go to bed and turn off the light
I want to write a book

Your touch feels real
Tricking me into thinking you’re there
Playing my mind into missing you once again
I’ve been doing fine
Now I can feel your kiss
The same one you gave me 3 years ago
How can I still feel it?

Like every other day

As I’m waiting on the moon

Our bodies have decided their favorite place
(discovered under cold bed sheets)
Intertwined feeling closer than anyone
(Hands wondering the maps of your skin)
Hold me tighter
(Socks lost in the depths of what was kept under your bed)
Tell me stories about your friends
(Place your heart in my damaged head)
I will listen to it all
While I let myself fall

I don’t know you’re name
But I’ve written you poems
Not really for you
But definitely about you

A flight is missed
While someone is kissed
Everything is constantly changing
As did you
To someone I have never met
Someone completely new
Too bad I still can’t leave you alone
It’s like a ghost walking around in my home
Not really there
You don’t really care
Walked away from me with not one bit of hesitation to turn around.
Well I never ******* moved.
My eyes stayed steady on your horizon not understanding at all what I feel

Thoughts of it never happening filled my head
Doubting every word I said
But you loved it all
Who would’ve known
That the girl in the blue striped shirt noticed me too

A distraction for me and one for you
A distraction for everybody in this room
Only a screen nothing to trust
We act like it is worth way too much

Will you please let me go on
I have no clue where we went wrong
I could’ve sworn you were the one
You still are
That’s why I’m not worried
I have my whole life to love you
It’s hard though being unwanted by such an undefined greatness
I came 863 miles for nothing
You start denying my calls and reading my texts but not feeling the need to reply
You don’t want to see me
The next person in line to give you attention has been tapping there shoes but I’ve been in line for years stomping the floor waiting for you
Every person on these streets getting scanned by my eyes desprately waiting to see your face.
