Some days I’m not even here but I also am crazy

Go to a party with you friends
I’ll stay in and write poetry
Come home and tell me stories
I’ll have more to write about in the morning.

Our bodies have decided their favorite place
(discovered under cold bed sheets)
Intertwined feeling closer than anyone
(Hands wondering the maps of your skin)
Hold me tighter
(Socks lost in the depths of what was kept under your bed)
Tell me stories about your friends
(Place your heart in my damaged head)
I will listen to it all
While I let myself fall

Evening attire
This need of mine seems prettier dire

Countless smiles
laughing till you cry
Everything in between

Thoughts of it never happening filled my head
Doubting every word I said

That the girl in the blue striped shirt noticed me too

Smiles exchanged

A distraction for me and one for you
A distraction for everybody in this room
Only a screen nothing to trust
We act like it is worth way too much

Pencils on paper
People talk about the parties later
but you’re wearing a blue stripped shirt today
And I can’t help but notice

Dreaming of you I never want to wake up
Your touch feels real
Tricking me into thinking you’re there
Playing my mind into missing you once again
I’ve been doing fine
Now I can feel your kiss
The same one you gave me 3 years ago
How can I still feel it?
I’m still waiting
Like every other day

As I’m waiting on the moon

I want to write a book
So many things to say
Arguments to have
No one speaks
A lot of love to share
The audience is now listening
But the silence has never been this quiet
SO I WILL TALK LOUD FOR THEM TO HEAR
And I will not write in all caps, but my words will shout their meaning.

A pen is so much easier to pick up when I am writing about her
The ink is more dominant as I write her name
For everything I write is her
The wind was even blown away

I came 863 miles for nothing
You start denying my calls and reading my texts but not feeling the need to reply

The next person in line to give you attention has been tapping there shoes but I’ve been in line for years stomping the floor waiting for you
Every person on these streets getting scanned by my eyes desprately waiting to see your face.

The trees move quietly but the wind tells them to yell
