I live in the mountains
Middle of no where
I'm all alone tonight
It don't seem fair
Yet I see the stars
Shining so **** bright
Every last little one
Giving off a speck of light
Each one a part of something greater
Each one a piece of what's real
I don't know what YOU are feeling
But that's how I wanna feel
Like I actually belong here
Like I'm not living for myself
Like there's some bigger out there
Like I'm as special as everyone else
I want my light to shine that bright
A smouldering sky for YOU to see
I just wish that someone out there
Was making a wish to have me

"i love you, you pretentious ****."
you turn around and look at me
with such royalty and entitement
you mumble:
"tell me something i don't know."
"ok."
so i will.
i will tell you that the moment i laid eyes on your porcelain skin,
i felt as though if i even
looked at it the wrong way,
you'd break
i will tell you that when you whisper your bloodshot apologies
into my ear
my skin does not crawl
like it should
i will tell you that the inside of your heart is a dry desert
and i am trapped inside your ribcage
never have i ever been so thristy
for your love
i will tell you that the first time you pushed me away i found myself crawling back to you
you said i deserved it
and i believed you
so when you tell me to tell you something you don't know,
i will tell you:
*i hate you, you pretentious ****
this never happened and i am so glad

most mornings are devoted to staying in bed and making love
aka
morning *******
then she leaves
or i leave
or both
and there is silence
for a little while
there is quiet
or at least until later that night
and we do
we **** all night
love all night
all hours
and
into the morning
all morning
until one of us leaves

I am drifting black
With a rotten promise of suppressed sorrows
That each breath
Each heartbeat
Every footstep
Delivers me closer to a beast

The foul scent of eucalyptus hangs in the air
Welcoming me to this filthy place
Wind howling as I open the door
A sickening reminder...

As images echo, a monster lies in wait
Hiding under a cloak of normal
But, at the edge of that disguise there is a tiny thread
I tugged it

In the stale air, the disguise deteriorated
Demolishing the monsters power over the innocent
I saw the scars of lives destroyed littered across the face of a predator

And I told...
