After we had
spontaneously kissed
on a cool autumn
evening
I brought it up
shortly thereafter by saying
"so..."
because I couldn't think
of anything else to say
and she said
"We are more mature than that."
except I wasn't
and neither was she
but at least the ensuing
fallout
was pretty to
look at

Nimbus
I can no longer hide
My soul ignited

once disparaged
I long to share it

The chills in my spine put into words

Lips on skin
Eyes filled with sin

What is this sensation

I drip colors you cannot see

Heightening my passion
Enhancing my touch

Raw emotion channeled as such

My desire aches
The color of flush
My cage breaks
Expressions of lust

I do not fear it
I can hear you blush

My favorite sound

Our souls combust
My restless soul longs for something fulfilling

Is it really any
surprise
that I write my
best poetry
when I'm
writing about
you?

I fall into the depths for carefree conversations, where the other person isn’t pretending to be something they’re not. I fall for the childish laughters that rise deep in their stomach. I fall for the inadvertent smilies that grow without the intention of doing so. I fall for the moments right before you sleep when your eyes begin to shut and you drift away into a dream. I fall for the soul of you, not the skin which carries you.
Live for the moment
Each day to disown this
Existence is merely
A meaningless omen
And death is a heartbeat away
Win or lose
Inescapable, so don’t allow it
To choose
Your decisions, discussions
And reasons to care
For some better world waiting
To save you out there
It is yours, it is mine
It is all of us time
And with or without us
The sun will still shine
So please pardon me young king
You’re blocking the glow
I have offered my wisdom
And now you must go

Love isn't blind,
blind are those,
who never loved.
