Stained Glass
Saying someone CAN'T be sad
because someone else might have it worse
is just like saying
someone CAN'T be happy
because someone else might have it better.
something empty
in my life
feels less empty
when i write

Yes I might be depressed,
But that doesn't stop me from loving you.
You're the sweetest
A poem every day.

I'm watching his back
It's really warm in here
A drop of sweat slowly forms and slides down the middle
In the line of his spine
Touching every bit of skin it can on it's way

People are beautiful

I want to be that drop of sweat
Being able to form and vanish within him
And maybe I want someone to see my back
In the warm room
And think that people are beautiful

I often wonder why people say love is color blind? See, I don’t think love is color blind at all. Love does not require sameness to love. No, love sees every color and every shade, uniqueness and relishes in everyone. Love seeks to understand and give freedom of expression to every brilliant color. It doesn’t demand general labels such as black, white, yellow etc. Love has perfect vision that sees , embraces and celebrates every color
In everyone and everything
See , I see color and kindly let me enlighten you

It’s Beautiful

For the 10th time, heartbreak is not a disaster: is heartbreak; disaster is when dear old poverty or nature comes into your life.
I stumble upon it; when I was dreaming lol

For Us

For us to learn
We must let go of our need to be right
For us to let go of our busyness
We must learn to become still
For us to learn our truth
We must surrender our control
For us to heal
We must admit we are sick
For us to live fully
We must accept that we will die
I wrote this during the grief of our 9 year old son's death. It's from my book COURAGE.  Grief has taught me so much about life.  Grief revealed a truth that I did not see until I faced death.
