The two don't know
they will become one,
any second now,
any moment now,
the lips will touch,
and before it's over,
before the lips touch,
before the moment,
before the second,
before they become one,
they know what love is.

The green ghost
flutters with a light beneath him,
a creature of the night,
believe him,
for he shows what he saw long ago.

The forest grove
rich with life and meaning,
a light which he says was breathing,
it's eating,
all the darkness he saw long ago.

The ghost in tatters everywhere,
his bright secret was shared,
the darkness rips and tears,
the light which once was there.

Yet still, the echo:
What the **** is going on?
You ask yourself
as the loading screen
breaks, the game starts
and you laugh
with your mates,

yet still, the echo:
What the **** is going on?
Just shut up and study,
get a job and get money,
pass your course with
no complaining, don't worry
it's just raining,

yet still, the echo:
What the **** is going on?
Don't think, a family to feed
a girlfriend, a baby, and parents
in need of your help,
and not to mention yourself,
take some time off
from work, it's stressful,
I know but it's best for

yet still the echo:
What the **** is going on?
Doesn't matter now, you're old
and you're tired, all regrets
have been tied, inside you
a fire has been saying
goodbye,
don't listen to them
cause you know,
do you know?
you have the experience
but still love your family
as you become dull,
never again will you
live the life of
a child with an unanswered question
inside you,
what the **** is going on?

The window,
you look straight through all the snow that's falling down.
A ghost,
shattered into a million pieces falling on the ground.
The devil,
swimming through the endless, formless fertile sound.
Sleepless night,
light today.

O Fortuna,
bring me up.

O Fortuna,
take me down.

Casual conversation,
waiting at the station,
it doesn't really mean she likes you, boy.

Listening to your problems,
sitting in the flowers,
it doesn't really mean she likes you, boy.

So listen when I tell you,
why you're feeling blue because,
you deserve a better life, my boy.

You don't have to fight,
all the ****** time because,
you deserve a better life, my boy.

I know you really like her,
but don't tell her about your father,
she really doesn't care about you, boy.

She's going to keep you around,
cause she likes your voice's sound,
she really doesn't care about you, boy.

You don't need a partner,
just to make yourself feel better,
you're perfect just the way you are, my boy.

You don't have to try,
these things just take some time,
you're perfect just the way you are, my boy.

When you're feeling safe
to show your true face,
That's when you'll know.
You'll know.

I thought it'd be funny if I ended up with you.
Through my quivering laugh I wish into the moon.
Fate, god, or magic, one of them came through.
It's true.

Well sometimes life's a joke, isn't it?
It drags you back just when you're ready to quit.
You lay your cards upon the table,
and its pawn takes your king.

Today at night as I look up to the moon,
I know that in the past you'll look there too,
A marred connection, the crater's dunes,
A blinding light dulls the gloom.

Show me the ocean,
the great divide.
Two human beings
stand at either side.

I heard a story
a monster lives inside.
Maybe if I ask him
he'll take me for a ride, to

the air,
the water,
the earth,
the fire.

The crescent moon,
it forms a bridge,
a great mirror
your eyes can never miss.

So while we wait to
get past this abyss,
in our minds is where
we'll share our first kiss, in

the air,
the water,
the earth,
the fire.
