Her pearly sleep
Autumn Rose Oct 2016
Burning my
eternal body
of blazing stars
on a painter's
canvas of the
night sky.
Silver rays of
moonlit dreams
sing the hypnotic
mermaid melody
to the broken
mirror of
Aquamarine.
Where waves of
marble bitterly cry
into the deep,
do not disturb
her pearly sleep...

Starry Breeze
Autumn Rose Sep 2016
The blazing
flame of the
dark lantern
was shining
brightly
as it reflected
in the
Woodsman's
auburn eyes.
Lost souls
take no
pleasure in
being found.
Little pieces of
glowing embers
were swiftly
carried away
by the autumn
wind in the
melancholy air
of old memories.
Like a
starry breeze
of dying fire,
whispering into
the stalking
night,
singing its
mortal melody
to the
wayward pines.
And so he
slowly disappeared
in the moonlit fog,
more lost than
he could have
ever realised.
Deeper and deeper in
the unknown...

My Autumn night
Autumn Rose Sep 2016
Daylight filled
with gold was
broken like a
mirror by the
haunted mist
of midnight.

The crickets
were singing
their lullaby
on the late
summer breeze.

My heart
slowly listened,
As lonely as the
howling wind
outside my window.

And i knew it
was Autumn,
As the auburn leaves
in the forest fell,
so did i,
So did I...

Moonlight shadow
Autumn Rose Sep 2016
Come sail with
me, far out into
the rolling
waves of
Aquamarine.
Peacefully
between the
endless black sea
and
the shimmering
skies.
Further and further...
Drifting away from
where
we want to be,
who
we want to be.
Come sail with
me and dream
of blue velvet dreams
under the
moon and stars.
Until we get
carried away
by a Moonlight shadow
as the heart of the sea
breathes us,
We slowly sink in the
haunted remains
of the Universe

Autumn Rose
Autumn Rose Sep 2016
The brown leaves
that shiver on the
bare branches greet
the last rays of gold
as the sun goes down.
A melody rises over
that velvet, shade of
fading green.
Bells of the indifferent
wind chime, for I am led
to a miracle of ancient
mother.
How beautiful...
A rose that grows waywardly
from within autumn's woods.
Spirits delighted to see the
rose that will not die, her red
petals shame my lips while
drooped sisters weep bitterly.
And in my garden, exquisite
fragrance,
Old memories,so sweet,
despite the thorns.
Illusions of the happiness of
the asleep and the dead...
Yesterday evening as i was walking through the forest, i saw a gorgeous red rose in front of an old abandoned house that still has not drooped...

Little Rosebush
Autumn Rose Sep 2016
I had a
little rosebush.
Red roses it
would not
bear, but
white
pearls
and silver bells.
The King's daughter
came
one day to
see my
little rosebush.
Her dress was
made of
silk and lace,
golden was
her long hair.
She asked for
my white
pearls and
my silver bells.
I said
"For a fair princess
like you I
have never seen!
I shall give
you my white
pearls and
my silver bells!"
She made a
necklace from
my
white pearls and
put them
on her neck,
she sewed my
silver bells on
her silky
lace dress.
So they suited
her very well!

The dried autumn leaf
Autumn Rose Sep 2016
Yesterday I
opened my old
poetry book, when
I found a pressed
autumn leaf.
Its fragrance took
me back in time,
back in that cold rainy day
Then I was so young
and beautiful
when it got caught in
my hair by the
mischievous wind,
bathed in sky's tears.
But now it's dried
And it will never
be as it was before.
Just like me...
Today i really did find an old autumn leaf pressed in my old poetry book. It brought back so many memories.
Good times...

The wise old owl
Autumn Rose Sep 2016
Upon a cold
winter's night, on
the snowy path they
wandered.
Deep in the forbidden forest.
The wise old owl that lived
in the tall oak was watching
as he sat on a branch.
Old pine,remain hollow.
He hooted to the
indifferent wind: Who?Who?
But it did not reply,
only whistling was heard
while the pinecones shivered.
The first was dressed in silver,
and her sister dressed in gold.
He stared into the moon,
seeking the truth.
So he discovered the stars
twinkling down upon them,
through the pine needles.
Brown wings of once lost light,
wisdom spoken by the night's silence.
And into the darkness they went,
The wise and the beautiful...

Music box ballerina
Autumn Rose Aug 2016
Preparing for my
performance as I
tied my ballet shoes,
when i looked upon
the makeup table,
the vase with a
single red rose.
I took the small
antique box in my hands.
Can it play it's enchanting
tune once again?
The old clock was ticking
as i slowly turned
the little key...
Twirling behind her mirror
to the soft melody.
Delicate and gentle.
She smiles while dancing,
her pain has no voice.
Trapped inside her music box
only wishing to be free.
And when her blue eyes
began to sparkle, I realised...
that music box ballerina is me!

The secret garden
Autumn Rose Aug 2016
Maybe it was the
call of springtime,
but the sweet melody of
the flute seemed to
bring the secret garden
back to life...

She wore a dress
of white lace.
Whiter than the lace
were her pearl earrings.
Sleeping peacefully
on a bed of
thorns and roses.
Cherry blossoms
in her hair.
One heavenly morning,
a beautiful melody
rised above the pine trees.
The tune of the
mysterious flute
player was that,
And the rose buds opened,
        The nightingale began to tweet,
The fountain was
filled  with water
        And the statue of an
angel began to pray.
Eyes of sapphire slowly opened.
Dew drops on her lashes.
The grass whispered
her precious secrets
to the silver
bells that chimed as
she sang her lullaby
to him, through the gentle
wind in the oak leaves.
Every morning while
the little kitten
chased the
pretty butterflies.
But now, when the
melody is gone and
autumn faded her garden,
she went to dream again,
under the shade of the willow.
Still their love song
can be heard,
where drooped roses wilt
and swans swim on
the shimmering pond,
near the little wooden bridge.

The secret garden knew
she loved him,
for her laughter
stirred the
dried rose petals...

The Empress
Autumn Rose Aug 2016
The last firebird flied
over her as she stood
on the last crumbling
mountain.
Prickley pine trees
shivering above the dew,
the first breath of the
winter in her soul was
icing through the flowers.
She fleed the Golden-emerald
city, heart broken by the
gong of war.
Sinking her nails deep into
the ground.
Sheding tears of a dragon
from the crystal eyes
of the universe.
Falling down
her porcelain face.
A work of art.
Her lips red,to seem like
cherries in the spring.
Casting a glance at the pale moon
while the wild wind was
howling to the north.
Ruler of the skies
as the morning stars sang together,
looking different today.
In the shadows of her lace fan,
the silky blossom on the
kimono dress.
Embroided with the silver thread
of moonlight, encrusted with
the diamonds of night.
The great ocean waves can't destroy
her purple throne.
Although left all alone, she will
never surrendor.
The obediance will suffocate
from her light, rising like the sun
after the dusk once again.
Because she is... the Empress

Goddess of spring
Autumn Rose Aug 2016
The cold wind greeted
the hoarfrost that
evening as white
butterflies started to
fall from the dark sky.
Soon the pearly blanket
was spread across
the whole land.
It sparkled on the milky
moonlight, giving the old
willow tree a wooly gown.
Covering all the roofs,
the fields of corn and wheat,
the tall grass on the meadow.
But then she appeared,
sending fairies to dance on the
frozen lake thus melting the ice.
And with every step that she took,
snowdrops began to bloom.

We slowly danced
by the rhythm of the
classical music as
the enormous crystal
chandelier was
shining above us.
My dress was shinier.
Since when do you
start listening to
Beethoven like the
national anthem?
The slender skillful fingers
would only wish to
leave marks on the
white keys of the piano.
Instead, it left an invisible
satisfaction in my ears.
Red roses freshly planted,
they acted as an
intoxicating perfume.
The cold snake of
white tears froze my heart.
Flowers in my hair
suited me more than
pearls on my neck.
But i lost my balance and
the entire night sky

And then the
two emeralds
pierced my soul
again.
The applause sounded
like the silent wind
as he was disappearing
in the cheerful crowd.
I followed his footsteps.
Far from the lights,
close to the leather car seats .
The moon persued us and
witnessed the moment when
the bird finally lost her wings
that were already broken.
Because she wasn't hit by a
white river stone, but by a
real diamond.

Loneliness
Autumn Rose Aug 2016
The black cat
cried out loud
to the moon from
a place where she
couldn't be seen.
But from the sound
of the lonesome melody
i knew that autumn was here.
I never imagined that
death could be beautiful
untill i saw the falling leaves.
Red,golden,brown.
And I started to fall while
the crickets were singing
on the gentle breeze.
Months have passed.
I can't remember the
last time when i got lost
in my own thoughts,
staring at the old wooden
clock as the hands stroke midnight.
I feel like a bird locked
in an iron cage, desperate
for the freedom the sky offered,
although there was the
blue vast underneath.
Those who harbor their dreams
to be alone must have forgotten
how it's like to be lonely.
The air outside was poisonous
and not many gems
were sprinkled.
But the night sky does not
possess all the stars.
Some of them simply
belong to the sea.

Black wings III
Autumn Rose Aug 2016
Beauty lies in the
hope that never dies.

("I can set you free")

Although the child has
seen all the evil in
her eyes, it could only
picture her as the innocent
angel she once used to be.

("My freedom is lost long ago")

With all her grandeur and magnificence.
Now hurt but still proud.

("Then i'll come with you")

Head down but eyes wide open,
staring at the remains of
her sold soul...

("You know nothing of hell")

Black wings II
Autumn Rose Aug 2016
I'm looking for
places to run and hide.
I'm afraid of it-the light,
it burns my skin.
And my raven wings.
Living in darkness,
so far behind.
You can't see my beauty
during the day, but at night
magic happens as the sky
starts to cry with me.
I find eternal peace in the rain.
It washes my soul full of sins.
I feel clean even if it's just pretend.
My smile is trapped in ever
raindrop disappearing
in the foggy lake.
It's scary what a smile can hide.
I'm dying, i'm dying...
Sometimes angels need
saving too.
And the darkness, my child,
is the only place you will find me.
Am i scaring you tonight, my child?

i am an angel but not perfect.
Making a bouquet with
flowers of evil.
I am ashamed.
Far from the pearl white

drip it on my wings, to become black as night,

Harvest melody
Autumn Rose Aug 2016
("Lord, bless this holy ground")

In the morning all the sunflowers turned their heads to the east.

("Where ancient spirits meet")

They swayed on the gentle wind like tired passengers, their shadows lied on the ground.

(" 'Round the old harvesters")

Corn,pumpkin and potato
harvested all day long, till the sun hides behind the hills.

("With a ribbon to tie our souls")

Now the fields are empty and the rusty sickle is hung on the wall.

("And to bind love in our hearts")

*But the melody goes on and on.
-The warm harvest song from my childhood is still ringing in my ears at night.

Lanterns in the darkness
Autumn Rose Aug 2016
Concealed worlds,
footsteps,
the smell of burning wax.
Why am I here?
Why do I breath?
I can see lanterns in
the darkness.
Lanterns of life.
Young are those whose candle
is shining brightly,
but old are those whose candle is put out long ago.
But what about my lantern?
-Lost forever, as my soul is wrapped

Diamonds reflecting on the sun,
rainbows on my skin.
Seeking the lost light of my
empty black sky.
Pearls on my neck.
He stole my star, just visions of
galaxies left scattered.
He threw water on my flame.
When it's gone, i'm not alive.
No! I saw the light inside him.
Summer is still in the air, smells like vanilla.
Heaven's in his emeralds.
White gold lines my heart, but burnt
from the dead memories, from the dead life journey
leading me towards the dark abyss.
Unknown,stranger,stolen images.
Can you buy me more diamonds?

Freedom lost
Autumn Rose Aug 2016
The chiming of church bells.
My heart is louder.
Lines of roses guide me toward the light,
the real gold slowly melting on the horizon.
Taking away my last breath of real freedom.
Burning lanterns desperately imitating the stars in the night air
while the silver crowned me as the queen of disaster.
My white veil painted my face with black lace,
lightened up by the moonlight.
Dancing in the night as he whistles my name.
Don't make me cry!
I can see, that once I was blind, scared that I wont find
all the answers. Because this... is the last time

So lost,I'm fading
Autumn Rose Aug 2016
The pale sun rays
were shining above me.
It was the
shadow to my light.
I felt as the
waves pulled me
in different directions
but i remained
on the surface.
When they hold me
i'm alive.
Eye to eye, so alive.
Find light in the
blue sea, i choose
to be happy.
These shallow waters
never were what
i needed.
I'm diving deeper.
Was it all in
my fantasy?
The eternal silence
of the sea, i'm breathing it.
I'm lying.
Was it only imaginary?
Another dream.
Palms rise to the
universe while i am
just one step ahead
to sink into the sea
of my long lost soul.
So lost, I'm fading.
The monsters are
running wild inside of me.
Sometimes i don't need
lack of air to feel
like i'm drowning.
If i lose myself, i lose it all.
And i was afraid of
the depth, i was afraid
of the unknown...

Unforgettable
Autumn Rose Aug 2016
She wore perfume
that smelled of old paper books.
She lived in the pages of
the Grimm fairy tales.
If you look into her eyes
you will see that they
are deeper than a well,
but you'll never see someone
to draw water out of them.
It's long dried.
And she is no more.
Disappeared for years.
Our memories of her
are slowly fading away,
like a book read only once.
Yet, she made it.
She never allowed to be forgotten. We can still see her in the ink, in every book we read...
