trace your faint touch down my rib cage,
whispered nails hush my chest,
let's synch our heart beats,
exhale burgundy breath,
that cheap red wine
and our ultra violet teeth.

unlace your lucid lust,
cocoons under silk sheets,
thread counts are high,
your body next to me.

your head rests gently,
my arm falls asleep,
i try not to move,
make sense to me.

Though the new, bright morning has arrived, you are still creating bliss thunderstorms within me...

Art
You’re the art
I can’t look at anymore
Even the most beautiful art can hurt

You’re the art
Always appreciate by others
always the center of attention
Always making me feel unbearable

she is quiet-
no, she is
silenced-
by the rows
of expectant expressions
pinning her down.

she is hopeful,
painting pictures with words
and narrating with implication,
hopeful
for a future
she won't want to hide from.

she is honest,
but with only her pen,
who seems to understand
her every emotion
without even a spoken word.

she is
dreams,
she is
heart.
she is
full of flames,
she is
fire.
he said to write about your true self, and i tried but... is this who i truly am or who i want to be?

your words
have this ability
to drag my heart up
from the wallowing depths
of my sorrow,
your voice,
velvet smooth,
each syllable
softly
saving me,
your eyes,
cerulean,
never faltering,
brush over me,
watching and worried..

but now,
all i can seem to notice
is how soft your lips are,
how close we stand,
this tie between us..
it would fray too easily
if i were to start tying knots.
my friend said she’s been waiting forever but i think i’m too late
You have found yourself a Genius
There is nothing he can't do
He could lose himself inside his room
And would write a book or two.

You have found yourself a Genius
A man of high esteem
He can make a lot of money
And your life would be like a dream.

You have found yourself a Genius
In a mansion he abides
With a tennis court and swimming pool
And a rolls Royce parked outside.

You have found yourself a Genius
Who has an amazing mind
He will take you to fancy restaurants
And treat you to the finest wine.

You have found yourself a Genius
Owning property's galore
He even owns his private jet
Along with so much more.

Yes you have found yourself a Genius
There is nothing he can't do
But when it came to make you happy
It just never worked for you.
A light hearted poem inspired by the Beatles song Money can't by me love
