Yesterday I was blue
Today I am yellow
She was orange
So very mellow

Their bodies were green
Faces of blue
They watched as we kissed
While they only wished

Burdened, afflicted, addicted, caught up in thoughts of somebody's affection. Heart broken, life wasted, pain is the only thing left to hold onto. Why or is there even an answer? Had plans, had dreams, but now there faded only in my memories. Brain dead, living lifeless for the rest of what we call life. Price of addiction is a deadly one.

Letting go can seem such a task
when you feel so stuck in the past
Breathe deeply, feel the present
The gift of life is ever evident
Raise your eyes so you can plainly see
Absolution from injustice
begins by honoring the love behind its plea
Feel it
Breathe it
Forgive your Foe
Because life is a mirror
It wants to be freed
Let go
Freedom

from the mountains of no-name
and the unknown cliffs of fall
this mind wanders perilously close
sometimes, the edges of reason
a complete blurred snow storm

Watching a seagull floating lazily
Through an invisible blue ocean
Effortlessly soaring on invisible waves
Course dictated by winds currents
Piercing eyes watching, senses alert
Casting a moving shadow, cross the deep
Tracking a path none knows
Swooping, surfing ocean’s rollers
Wingtips gently kissing wave peaks.
Beautiful bird in flight, a nuisance  around fish and chips ....

no sound without silence
no peace without love
you must have your highs and lows
there is nothing so maddening as a flat line
to know your own composure within yourself,
you must throw yourself into different activities
only then can your soul remain whole
while the ocean around you is flat, you run the risk
of running over, of blending into the surroundings
force makes you solid and shows you who you are
inactivity, boredom, wears away and erodes at your good character
if you don't use it, you lose it.
The black man stalks my dreams again.
With his oil spill eyes
And venomous smile
He speaks in tounges
And bent up promises.

He jokes, Call me Cain.
Adam Judas Satan Jesus
Gabriel ******* Whale.
I call him the Whale
For he has swallowed me whole.

He is the flood
and I am swept away debris.
He calls me Seven
(That *******)
One for every sin I've mastered.

Soft-footed and delicate,
you tip toed your way into
my head last night.
Having scaled warm cheekbones
you pried apart my eyelashes;
teased apart my flickering eye lids.
Stepping under the soft pink canopy,
you found a nook.
Curling up, you pulled closed
wafer thin skin, to keep you safe;
to make sure that
even while dead to this world
you are all I see.

Tendrils from the depth of impossibly dark blue
Seaweed tickles the feet of the turbulent curves and how the world turns so slowly that we never notice
When she walks into the room she eclipses the light of the sun
When she speaks she drives the hearts of men mad with delight
And her hands weave quantum ripples through the fabric of life itself
We pull dreams from the ether and breathe life into new worlds
Ancient sea beast reaches up from forgotten depths- whose tentacles encompass the foundation of man
Tickles me toes and waters my garden with deep shadow certainty
To choose truth over shallow now
Love or lust, girl or Goddess?
Kissing the lady of the stars!
