No,
not every poem
needs to bloom
with romance
to make a heart grow
full and wise;
There is poetry
found in survival,
in unhappy endings
and goodbyes.
Not every poem
must woo the reader,
or make their yearning soar,
some poems taste
like bitter coffee grounds
and nothing much like love.

Do I go round in circles, turn left or right?
It's all the same, the path leads straight to you.
Was it something I said? Were my words too heavy?
Or was the silence too loud?
Spoke my truth with everything I felt.
Isn't it funny how you're so peaceful,
While I'm lost in thought.
— No shift, no change, you're still the same,
While I’m stuck here spinning out of control!
You’ve carried on with ease.
But the space is still occupied by you,
Time ticks, seconds pass —
waiting for your countdown.
Beyond reason, I still believe,
This is hopelessly a state of flux.
Just archives I thought I'd finally get it out here. 🤣

as the bullet pierces through
the love for you spills out too
thoughts unsaid
prays unheard
what drips from my writ once was love.

Someday you’ll love you.
From the sparkle in your eye,
To the pitch of your laugh,
Even the color of your hair.

You will love every part,
From every wrinkle,
To every crinkle,
Every part of you.

But they will try to tear you down,
To make you frown,
To make you think you’re not worth it.

But darling you listen to me.

From the way you walk,
To the way you talk,
You will be mocked,
But don’t you listen.

From your weight,
To your height,
You are all wonderful to me.

Maybe one day you’ll see,
The beauty I see.
The way you were made,
So beautifully.

But until then,
Do not forget,
On how true beauty,
Comes from within.
I hope one day that you love you the way you deserve. You are worth it ❤

My heart beats louder still,
Seconds slip, no words exchanged
It's a silent oath whisperd.

Blessed I am to have you here
To touch your apple cheeks dear
To feel the warmth of your true love
And cherish all here, down or above
I am so lucky, to have the lucky charm
Of nuptial beauty, charismatically warm
O love, my love! You are what I'd convert
This world may end, death comes,so what?

My ears deceive me
Because the words that came out of your mouth
Are so insulting
But you would never actually say that to me

My sense of touch deceives me
Because the way you touched me
Was so *****
But you would never touch me like that

My nose deceives me
Because the way your heart smells
It is so rotten
But you are the purest person I know

My eyes deceive me
Because the person in front of me
Is so controlling
But you would never use me in that way

My tongue deceives me
Because the way your mouth tastes
Is so bitter
But you are the sweetest person I know
