Lotus May
some days, reality is suffocating
so we turn inward and drown
ourselves under the weight
of our own thoughts and
let our demons feed on
our deepest insecurities
we get so used to it that we don’t feel
our bodies screaming in pain,
craving for a taste of fresh air
or even just a moment of stillness
we forget we have arms and legs
aching to swim across the sea
we forget that our thoughts are
merely soft clouds passing by
because
we are not our thoughts
we are not our thoughts
we are not our thoughts

we forget that
all we need to do is
breathe

Poetic T
Hues glistened above her face,
        prisms of droplets catching
the light as each fell..

This was ecstasy,
          A rainbow covering

                             her features...

For me it was love
But for them it was curiosity
Words cannot explain
yet I’m out of them
my many
I love you’s
does not explain
how deep you are
rooted in my soul
you’re like the moon
when I can’t
touch you
see you
I miss you
the moon is always
out of reach though
yet it touches my heart
just like you do
so I can’t explain
my love for you
but I’ll show you the moon
and let it touch you too
When it's love, it's patient.
Even with the chaos;
The roaring skies,
The quaking earth,
It's patient.
And despite the heavy thoughts,
love will try and make sense of it all.

This Poem
Bloodied fists,
Chipped Nails,
Torn skin,
And yet nothing.

The wall,
It stands in silence,
A mental masonry masterpiece,
My own suffering by design.

I collapse to the ground,
And look at the sky,
To watch the dust settle,
And then I realize,
The wall is crumbling,
Slowly…

This Poem
And when light asked,
“Where shall I rest?”
I pointed in her direction,
And glowed did she,
All her curves and edges,
Dimples and hair strands,
All for which my song was written,
Was illuminated.
Clueless, Restless, but then the Moon Speaks!

can you see clouds at night, askes the moon,
my train, my assemblage of word worshippers,
who ask me by the thousand for clearer answers,
“one if by day, two if by night” is my evere’d reply,
bereft of confidences, steps unsteadied, full of distemper,
shaky uncertain, so answer all, once more, but only with
difficulty am I understood, for the simplicity so so great!

the moon comes to you nightly, never! never are you ignored,
your lost alone words always well heard, we are two together,
we are all
two, if by night, my lune bright, ours, your answer!

Together Nightly, Are We Not Poets of the Way?
