That laugh
Child of the universe
She’s like a fairy flower
Butter petals dripping with goo
Gushing with sweetness she shares with me
Nauseating all around us, we know La
We have it
We found it
Others want it
OK. She found it
But I had the sense to know it was right
It is so right
She’s like a rock

life is like
when you're
a little kid
and you
discover that
there is more
than twenty-four
crayons in the box
that there is
the possibility
of forty-eight colors
of sixty-four
of one-hundred and twenty
that there are
so many shades
of love and anger and peace and despair
and absolute bliss
and the ability
to express them all
are now
in the palm
of your hand

life is
colorful
beautiful
thought-provoking
lovely
soulful
heartbreaking
inspiring
and absolutely wonderful

every day is
a new sunrise
a new chance
to transform into
the butterfly you
want to be

go out there
and change the world, kid

then laughed gently into my mouth.
It tasted like Spring.

When my sun is hidden, I must rely upon on my moon’s shine.
When my chakra is askew, I must realign.
Learning the things I already knew.
They flew over my head
cause I’m cuckoo.
Allaround me, an endless realm
                   But
In you I see me.

Who hadn't loved you
In time, perhaps
Like the wall in the painting
Faded,
Far from the window,
And the shine
On the pearl
In your ear remained,
"I"
Am colored still
With your
Glow
