Comes into my room as quick as light. Love.
Turned on with no fright.
Laughing and loving not a care in the world. In my arms you curled.

Strange feelings set the mood.
My love you feel the need to elude.
Now in a flash have you changed.
Somehow your feelings towards me have rearranged.    Selfish

Struggling to keep you gripped tight.
You tell me it's not right.
I sit here telling myself its not over,
Fearing the worst you let me cry on your shoulder.

No words to be said
Just tears  I have shed
I stand, sit, lie down as I plead
Asking every explanation I can bleed

Crushing blows I take away
Fire to darkness you play
Your light flickers in my heart as I twitch
You're unpredictable like a light switch...
Tails.

I'm tired of living with these demons, because they always inviting more.

I let you in,
You pushed me out.
I built you up,
You filled me with doubt.
I gave you reasons to smile,
You tore me down.
I gave you words of encouragement,
You were the reason behind my frown.
I have kept every secret you told me,
You betray me.
I prevented you from feeling trapped,
You prevented me from being free.
You don't care,
You continue to hurt me,
You were never there.
You pushed me away,
Slowly at first, then all at once,
More and more each day.
Guilting me into staying by your side,
Controlling me like a puppet,
Making my emotions your free roller-coaster ride.
What kind of sick friendship is this?
Am I someone you really trust?
Or is this a friendship that won't be missed?

To my life, she adds a million times more lustre;
Through thick and thin, and shine and dust-
Her advice has guided me through each dead end.
And I call her my best friend.

With blindfolded eyes,I place in her endless trust,
For I know, in every adversity, she'll protect me as my crust.
My each impaired emotion,she can easily mend;
And I call her my best friend.

Her presence, for my subsistence, is a must:
For she brings out my best, in ways most just.
She supported me,even when life changed its blend,
And I call her my best friend.

When I was challenged in life's most stormy gusts,
She stood by me, as tough as a bust.
She shows me the correct path, away from the fiend;
And I call her my best friend.

I want to thank you- for all that you've done,
Your worth is appreciated in the highest tons!
I shall always be here, should you need a shoulders' lend;
As I have called you my best friend.

your kiss was as tasty
as strawberry sauce.
but was it your tongue
or just your lipgloss?

your hair smelled of wild flowers,
sickly sweet and divine.
your perfume was so rustic,
like a soft scented pine.

your eyes sparkled bright
like the overhead stars.
with you softly singing,
and me strumming guitar.

we danced until morning,
skinny dipped in the stream.
it all seemed so perfect,
could it be just a dream?

our nights that summer,
i won't soon forget
the memories we made
or the girl that i met.
in case anyone hasn't gotten it yet, i'm not into guys. i'll probably right a longer poem about coming out and my sexuality, but just a heads up, yeah i'm gay.

I can no longer be with you;
a fact I wish were not true.
But you must be true to yourself
and not put your promise on a shelf.
For a promise made is a promise kept,
and yet still when i saw you my heart still leapt,
even though we cant be
I still wish for a you and me.
When both wish for the other and yet the universe fights back.
