The day we met,
It rained so bad,
We all got wet,
Even that young lad,

Some ran in search of spot to stand,
Some looked around to find a hand,
Some happy they were as it did rain,
Some frowned so bad as if in vain,

Some wished they had ,
an umbrella to hold,
Some closed their umbrellas,
though it became  mould,

And there you came,
different than them all,
Saw your dancing shadow around the spall ,
It was standing tall,

I loved you because you were different .

I came to you with all my love,
Something I'm always proud of,
You held my hand through the rain,
We danced together as if we're insane,

Have the courage to be held a fool,

To give your all and let yourself fall,

Rest assured dear and fear not

For you know something others do not.

Let despair and gloom unfold,

Worry not and ever be bold,

For it all comes after and before,

To ones who fear not to spall.

For you know what some may not,

Or they willfully forgot,

Amidst the pain heaven awaits,

And love divine opens its gates

And the world is yours alone,

For as long until it’s gone.

There's a brook to which
my heart is tied.
Speckled reflection where beauty hide.
The threads with which my mornings stitch;
water's response to a golden finch.
My mind as slow as the creek does crawl.
These moments with which my life does spall.
Amongst the cold, the crisp:
a gifted bliss
that in these words I meekly scrawl.
