"hushabye" poems
Go to sleep, and shut your eyes, Please dream of broken butterflies That tore their wings against a thorn. For you know the pain that they have borne. Silver metal, shines so bright. Scarlet blood, that feels so right. Dream of the blood that's trickling down, And wake up just before you drown. The moonlight's shining off your tears Bleed out all your petty fears. So tonight when you start to cry You better whisper the cutters lullaby: Hushabye baby, you're almost dead. You don't have a pulse and your pillow is red. Your family hates you, your friends let you bleed. Sleep tight with a knife, cause it's all you'll need. Rockabye baby, broken and scarred. You didn't know life would be this hard. Time to end the pain that you hid so well, And down will come baby, straight back to hell.

A Cutters Lullaby
A long time after bedtime When it's very late When even dogs dream And there's deep sleep Breathing through the house When the doors are locked And the curtains drawn And the shops are dark And the last train's gone And there's no more traffic in the street Because everyone's asleep Then.... The window cleaner comes To the main shop fronts And polishes the glass In the street-lit dark And a big truck rumbles past On it's way to the dump Loaded with the last Of the day's trash On the twentieth floor Of the office tower There's a lighted window And high up there Another night cleaner's Vacuuming the floor Working nights on her own While her children sleep at home And down in the dome of the observatory The astronomer who's waited all day for the dark Is watching the good black sky at last For stars and moons And spikes of light Through her telescope In the middle of the night While everybody sleeps At the bakery The bakers in their floury clothes Mix dough in machines For tomorrow's loaves of bread And out by the gate Rows of parked vans sit For their drivers to come And take newly baked Bread to the shops For the time when the Bread eaters wake Across the town at the hospital Where the nurses watch in the dim-lit wards Someone very old shuts their eyes And dies Breathes their very last breath On their very last night Yet not very far away on another floor After months of waiting A new baby's born And the mother and father Hold the baby and smile And the baby looks up And the world's just begun But still, everybody sleeps Now through the silent station Past the empty shops And the office towers Past the sleeping streets And the hospital A train with no windows Goes rattling by And inside the train the sorters sift Urgent letters and packets on the late night shift So tomorrow's mail will arrive in time At the towns and villages down the line And the mother With the wakeful child in her arms Walking up and down And up and down And up and down The room Hears the train as it passes by And the cats in the yard And the night owl's flight And hums hushabye hushabye We should sleep now You and I It's late and time to close your eyes It's the middle of the night.

Find a reason or an excuse to avoid What you feel and how it burns inside How it effects you they can't understand To far, to intense,  to much on your plate They beg you to let them help, yet you escape When really it's you, no other to blame You made a mistake couldn't handle their gaze Oh hide emotion because of your past Open to nobody for fear of the out Once knowing your weakness you no longer could face Knowing they knew your inner most pain For another's affection was to much to take Then because you can't cope you push them away Then scold yourself as you let them go Then sleep at night thinking are they alone Oh hushabye fool oh lament the loss Only you could have told them you felt to much More emotion than you could ever have known The love they showed you was nothing you'd known The end came silent you could no longer talk You simply couldn't take in it's all Now a memory, and what of the cost? You can't repair what you, alone lost

A Cutter's Lullaby
*Go to sleep, and close your eyes, And dream of broken butterflies, That torn their wings against a torn, You know the pain that they have borne,* **Silver metal, shine so bright, Scarlet blood, that feels so right, Dream of that blood tracking down, And wake up just before you drown,** *The moonlight shining off your tears, As you bleed out your own worst fears, So tonight when you start to cry, Whisper the cutters lullaby,* **Hushabye baby, you're almost dead, You don't have a pulse and your pillow is red, Your family hates you, you friends let you bleed, Sleep tight with a knife, because that's all you need,** *Rockabye baby, broken and scarred, You didn't know that life would be this hard, Time to end the pain that you hid so well, And down will come baby, straight back to hell..*

Whisper The Cutters Lullaby
Go to sleep, Close your eyes, Dream of broken butterflies That tore their wing against a thorne. You know the pain that  they have borne. Silver medal, shines so bright Scarlette blood, that feels so right. Dream of that blood trickling down, And wake up just before you drown. The moonlights shining off your tears, As you bleed your own worst fears, So tonight when you start to cry, Whisper the cutters lullaby. Hushabye baby, your almost dead. You dont have a pulse and your pillow is red. Your family hates you, your friends let you bleed. Sleep tight with a knife because thats all you need. Rockabye baby, broken and scarred, You didnt know that  life would be this hard. Time to end the pain you hid so well, And down will come baby, straight back to hell.

Cutters Lullaby.
Funny how our rolling emotions inside Can be calmed by the thundering storm outside A wide and grey stretching sky Can bring out a deeper sigh The sky has sent her haunted kiss Persuading all to reminisce Still and quiet, now eerie silent The air so still it's almost violent Bleak sky dark and calming Strangely so inviting Lullaby-ing my soul to quiet Assuaging all that was in riot I can be tranquil like the sky I'll sing myself a lullaby And Hushabye these cares away And me and mine will sway away I'll sing a soft slow song We'll grow together strong The wind and rain will pitter pat Hail and puddles and all of that Babe soon to be in arms Plus two wild'uns that run My own small little charms We've only just begun Little feet splash in the puddles Claps of thunder draw out delight Inside me baby cuddles Soon we'll all meet this heaven's sight

Cradle
Go to sleep, close your eyes, and dream of broken butterflies. They tore their wings against a thorn. You know that pain that they've endured. Silver metal shine so bright. Scarlet blood that feels so right. Dream of that blood trickling down, and wake up just before you drown. The moonlight shining off your tears as you bleed out the worst of your fears. So tonight when you start to cry, whisper the cutters lullaby: Hushabye baby, you're almost dead. You don't have a pulse and your pillow is red. Your family hates you. Your friends let you bleed. Sleep tight with a knife 'cause that's all you need. Rockabye baby, broken and scarred. You didn't know life would be this hard. Time to end the pain you hid well, and down you'll come, baby. Back home to hell.

The Cutter's Lullaby (Did not write this)
Go to sleep, and close your eyes And dream of broken butterflies wings once pretty, now are torn ripped and shredded against a thorn Silver metal, shine so bright Scarlet blood, that feels so right Dream of that blood trickling down Just don't wake up until you drown The moonlight's shining off your tears As you're bleeding out your own worst fears wait tonight until you cry then whisper the cutter's lullaby Hushabye baby, you're almost dead You've lost your pulse and your pillow Is red Your family hates you, and your friends let You bleed Sleep tight with a knife, cause it's all You'll need Rockabye baby, broken and scarred Who knew life could be this Hard Time to end the pain that you hid so well Then down will come baby, straight Back to hell.

Sweet Dreams
*A gentle breeze from Hushabye Mountain Softly blows o'er lullaby bay. It fills the sails of boats that are waiting-- Waiting to sail your worries away. It isn't far to Hushabye Mountain And your boat waits down by the key. The winds of night so softly are sighing-- Soon they will fly your troubles to sea. So close your eyes on Hushabye Mountain. Wave good-bye to cares of the day. And watch your boat from Hushabye Mountain Sail far away from lullaby bay.*

Hushabye Mountain (not by me)
***Hushabye baby you're almost dead. You have no pulse and your pillow is red. You're family hates you & you're friends let you bleed. Sleep tight with a knife because that's all you need.*** ***Rockabye baby broken & scarred, You didn't know life would be this hard. Time to end the pain that you hid so well, & Down will come baby, Straight back to Hell***

Dark Poetry #5
Sticks and stones may break my bones, But the words you say to me will always hurt worse They're like a a thousand knives cutting open my heart Every time I miss you or you're angry with me or not talking to me I get this feeling in my chest This ache that doesn't go away until it's all okay Hushabye baby I'm not dead yet, I know who you are not who I am, That girl is lost so very lost, Without you She's long long gone. You're her map; She needs you to find herself. You're the key that unlocks her heart You're the drug that soothes her mind When we're happy nothing else could ever matter more Looking into your eyes  She falls for you each time  Harder. Hushabye baby do you miss me? I'm right here  I won't let you bleed  Look back into my eyes; It's alright Lay your head down  Sleep tight "I'm trying" "I'm not dying" Soon we'll be together Our hearts aren't completely broken  Just weathered  I love you more than ever..

Cutter's Lullaby
*As My Love Lies Sleeping by Jude Kyrie Sleep sweetly love and Hushabye . I will bring you my  lullaby In my arms lay so gentle and sweet Bringing comfort as my love falls asleep. The world is in the turmoil of the madmen’s cry. But not in our moonlight not even a sigh. Memories that fill my heart with your kiss Until morning will cover our bodies with bliss. As the moonlight succumbs to the morning light. My arms will carry you safe through the night. The entire rude world that lives in the day has faded to shadows as in my arms you do lay. Moonlight it drifts around your sleeping head Safe and warm forever in our blessed bed. My heart is silently shouting my love in a loud cry Beheld by you beauty in my lullaby*
